If there's an American tragedy, within hours you can always expect our corrupt media to feast on the corpses of the victims in order to push their left-wing political agenda.
As we saw with the horrifying Tucson murders a couple of years ago, where within an hour the media was blaming Sarah Palin for the killings, these are awful people who can never stop proving how awful they are.
Case in point, CNN's Piers Morgan who is already exploiting 12 deaths and dozens injured to push for gun control:

i agree with you, but just as the left will use this to push their gun control agenda why not start questioning hollywood and their violent movies???
Piers should go back to his homeland.
Piers Morgan LOVES these events because he can use them to push his political opinions. Doesn’t care much about who died; just as long as it’s headline news. IMO

What you said...Yep
Go back to your Third World homeland, Morgan. Good luck under Sharia law with your new Muslim masters.
So far I’ve been surprised that nobody is mentioning the 71 year old man recently shooting the FL internet cafe strong arm robbers - could have used one man like that in Colorado.
GOD BLESS TEXAS and OKLAHOMA! No surrender.

I've given that some thought. In a crowded theater, as pandamonium erupted in the dark, with teargas spreading in the air, the tactical opportunity to get effective shots at the perp would not have been favorable unless there were several folks or at least one in a good position early in the event.
In short, I would have been sitting in the middle of the theater. By the time I realized what was going on, I expect bodies would have been going in all directions. I suspect that most of the folks that escaped unharmed didn't get a good look at the perp at all.
Yup! I just mentioned to the wife that we need to get back out to the shooting range and do a little refresher training.
Isn’t Piers a British citizen? So, nunna his bidness, if so.
Ok Rita, I’ll hit Onyx with another small log for the eternal FReeper fire.
No surrender sister!

A national radio show, the Schnitt show, had a guy on for twenty minutes that was in theater #9 from the start.
That and other reports make clear that the shooter walked up the aisle shooting people heading for the exits but at one point must have had a 1/4 of the front theater behind his back.
Anybody armed behind him might have been able to just soot him in the back of the head - he did have body armor.
Oops - nevermind - Schnitt is saying per the lead investigator, officer “Oats”? the guy was decked out in body armor head to toe ... helmet, neck, torso and leg armor! Usually that’s frontal protection?
Some lessons come hard to communities that seek to control their surroundings and protect them from danger.
Colorado has sure had its fair share of getting kicked in the gut and then some the past decade or two.
Looking back, they seem to have invited danger instead of learning how to deal with it.
Well, thank ya. But I still meant what I said earlier about the rest of that bloody pulp ;D!
Still, it would have slowed down the carnage with some return fire and given people a chance instead of either being shot at the exits or waiting to be executed huddled between the seats.
About that “bloody pulp”.....
Oklahoma thanks you!!!
