Dan Cathy, the president and chief operating officer of popular fast food chain Chick-fil-A, said in a radio interview this week that legalizing same-sex marriage is inviting Gods judgment on our nation.
Appearing on The Ken Coleman Show, Cathy spoke of his companys pride in its socially conservative character, but then offered an assessment of same-sex marriage that might lose the chain a few customers.
I think we are inviting Gods judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage, said Cathy.

God’s judgement is already upon our nation, just look at the murdering of the unbord, do people think he hasn’t seen this. He weeps tears of blood over this and no one here does anything.
Everything I ever heard about Dave Thomas was that he was a quality individual.
In Walmart I had to confront the mother of a highschool lesbian kissing and hugging her “partner”. The mother also had a couple of other children with her that were about 5 and 7. I was pissed! It’s still a free country and if they’re not carefull this is going to get ugly.
They were just having a gay old time.....
Didn’t God know this before we were even a country? Why would He punish us now, instead of after the first abortion?
Easy.
Answer: 67.02 miles to the nearest CFL. Not so easy. Not tonight.
Going to family reunion in Indy first Sunday in August, and again to Indy for HS reunion at the end of August.
Yea! There is a whole bunch of CFLs in the Indy area.
Disaster is an arbitrary, and capricious word.
For that reason your question is not answerable. Not all natural events are disasters, and who can make that call?
The storm didn’t appear to be a disaster by human cost by my estimation, but there can be no question that it was directed at government.
.
If there was one near me, I absolutely would patronize. I love their food, their service, and their values. Great company. Soon I’ll live in an area that has Chick-Fil-A, thank God.
I see sunday as Satan’s day, but nevertheless I applaud their hold on principles they believe in.
Now its time to pray that they can be brought to understand which days are the Lord’s.
Our judgement started with Madeline Murray O’Hair spouting her atheism on Phil Donahue’s first show, we kicked out Jesus and His Father from our once Godly country, then came ABORTIONS.......50 MILLION CHILDREN KILLED BY THEIR MOTHERS!!!!! Now it’s GAY RIGHTS and MARRIAGE everywhere especially on TV shows, then it was the MARXIST, COMMUNIST Obama getting elected......I can’t believe we are still hanging on by a thread....ONLY by a thread.
I think the "alternate lifestyle" crowd has been boycotting the company for some time. Chick-fil-A's service lines have only grown longer.
What CAN we do?! The majority of the people in this country have continued to elect these liberals over the years who will give them what they think they want. - I think it has just reached the point of, like it says in Revelation, “if a man be FILTHY, let him be FILTHY still”. They are adamantly rebellious; and all we can do is continue to vote for people who campaign on a pro-life claim.
Amen, brother Dan! Preach it! America needs to hear the Truth. I will gladly patronize your business.
A bit late. Abortion is already bring on the brimstone in the form of declining births (to citizens). The US is only increasing population through immigrants (including illegals) and their children.
But I am going to eat at Chik-fil-a tomorrow...
Why limit it to just one verse, the whole chapter speaks to the denial of the power of God.
I drove through one morning for breakfast. The credit card I had in my car was declined. I said - wait a minute - let me get some cash and was reaching for my purse.
They said, no problem. It’s free.
I was embarassed and shocked..and felt bad because they gave me a free sandwich. I go there often now.
I love Chic-fil-A, and wouldn’t you know it..my biggest cravings for them is on Sundays!
Seriously, good on Dan Cathy. I’m so tired of the PC comments and go along to get along rhetoric. Why can’t more people say what they believe and then stand up and defend their comments?
Yeah, they've had CFA in their sights for several years now; I guess with all the recent kowtowing by states and/or courts, they will move full steam ahead trying to intimidate this company.
FWIW, CFA is one of the few fast food places I don't mind taking my kids to. And that was before I was even really aware of the conservative politics of the owner. Clean, no stupid cartoon/movie tie-ins and toys, and the service is nearly always exemplary and ENGLISH SPEAKING. Plenty of "regular" restaurants could learn from them.
