A family-owned restaurant in Pennsylvania is under a state discrimination investigation for offering a ten percent discount for diners who present a church bulletin on Sundays.
The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission confirmed there is an investigation against Prudhommes Lost Cajun Kitchen in the town of Columbia. The complaint was filed by John Wolff, a retired electrical engineer.
I did this not out of spite, but out of a feeling against the prevailing self-righteousness that stems from religion, particular in Lancaster County, Wolff told the York Daily Record. I dont consider it an earth-shaking affair, but in this area in particular, we seem to have so many self-righteous religious people, so it just annoys me.

Only if you are a homo, a muslim, or an atheist prick.
We have a restaurant in Sarasota, FL that offers a discount for church bulletins. What is to stop the Atheist for getting a church bulletin? What’s the difference between that or having to buy a paper to get a coupon? Just more proof that many Atheists are just haters of Christians. If they don’t believe in God, why do they care if someone else does?
It’s a PRIVATE business so they should be allowed to do whatever the heck they want. And that should include allowing patrons to smoke.
Midstate PA ping.
This goes back to the civil “rights” era. Back in the days when a private business could refuse service to ANYONE.
I am flabbergasted at his arrogance, and his stupidity.
Where are those jihadis when you really need them!
Mr. Wolfe is the one who is self-righteous. What a putz.
I think the constitutional right to not be annoyed is in the 252nd amendment.
“Its a PRIVATE business so they should be allowed to do whatever the heck they want. And that should include allowing patrons to smoke.”
That might have been true before HusseinCare.
Our domestic enemies have been emboldened to try to strip other Constitutional rights from us.
There, he's still a douche, but at least now he isn't a liar. ;-)
So he DID do it out of spite it would appear.
What bothers me more than the idiot who filed the complaint?
The fact that the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission took it and believes it has the right to decide the restaurant’s fate.
THAT is government going too far.
People should be outraged and contacting their elected officials, especially those who supervise or oversee the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
it's that nerve that goes from your eyeballs to your a&& that gives you such a sh**ty outlook on live you meddling POS
I’m guessing he omitted the “not” and the York Daily Record put it in for him.
Big Media makes up any quote they want, especially in recent days.
He's being self-righteous himself with his self-righteously purported righteous lawsuit
Wonder if he has any self-righteous lawsuits up his sleeve against Student and Senior discounts too?
This “investigation” is disgusting. The state has no business interfering with the owner’s choices in running his business. I hope the petty tyrants responsible for abusing government power are either fired or voted out of office.
Ive always wondered why businesses that offer a “senior citizens discount” weren’t guilty of violating anti-age-discrimination laws.
live= life
so it just annoys me
I think the constitutional right to not be annoyed is in the 252nd amendment.
Ah yes the USC of O (”O” is for Obama). I mentioned the 57th ammendment in another post. Its the same ammendment that gives the King the right to tax anybody for anything he feels like.
