Looks like Romney DOES disagree the court's decision. What he actually said.
Boston Herald ^

Posted on 07/05/2012 7:23:41 AM PDT by ArmyBratproud

Looks like the Herald got busted for not showing Romney's whole interview at first. She even said in the video they only posted part of it.

Romney did NOT agree at any point with Roberts and the Court majority.

But you need more than a 5 second attention span so you can actually listen to the whole thing.

The commie fifth column media just doing its assigned job of lying for the globalist masters. To steal a phrase from Jaws, ‘You’re gonna need a bigger guillotine.’

Your comment bears repeating again and again. We have a real situation we can’t change today. We have a real opportunity to effect change and real elections to win.
It’s time for the fantasy sideshow to roll up their tents and the grownups need to get on with defeating Obama and the leftard cabal in Washington.

I don’t really care what Romney is saying now.

Look at his record. In the past he supported government healthcare. He supported a mandate. He supported federal incentives to force states to implement Romneycare.

Romney is like Obamacare. You’re skeptical based on his record. The rumors and promises are over the top. And you have to elect him to find out what’s in him.

I heard his FULL statement and I agree.

He said that he felt the minority was correct but now this is the law and the only way to kill it is repeal it. He ALSO said NUMEROUS TIMES that he would use the SAME EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY Obama used to exclude some states from complying, to excude every state in the Union from the provisions of Obamacare should he be elected.

ALL of which is a DAMN SITE better than another four years of this Marxist Muslim Pretender.

PERSONALLY, I would be FAR more concerned with what those two NEBISHES (Boner and McConnell) in the Congress do - or better yet - DON’T do - with respect to dealing with this than with Romney. He has been pretty clear that he doesn’t want it and that he considers it the whole thing a job loser and a drain on the economy. THEY have been a set of wimpy gutless capons and are unfit for the offices they hold.

I’m beginning to wonder if some of these Romney-bashers are not clandestine Trolls working for the Obama Hussein Bastard.

Rommey isn’t my first choice - as a matter of fact, he was my LAST choice. But with ALL his faults - he is still an AMERICAN, not a self-conceived citizen of the third world, and on EVERY ISSUE he is better than Obama by FAR!

"It is the "Principled Conservative Brigade"."

LOL

"The same yoyos who think the Second American Civil War will be cool and fun!"

Which would be completely unnecessary if we all understood strategy and applied it rationally.

"If they can't get everything they want and right now, they will trash any efforts to get part of it."

Exactly. They don't understand that you can't win the war without winning most of the battles. And you definately can't win the war if you refuse to participate in any of the battles.

There is no chance of getting a true conservative in the WH this year; that's a hard fact we have to face. The best we can hope for is to increase the number of Tea Party conservatives in both the House and Senate in 2012 (hopefully gaining control of both this year) and again 2014.

By the 2016 election, we should have a strong conservative candidate to run for President. By then, the conservatives we will have put into Congress should have corrected most of what the liberals have put into place. And if so, the economy will have gotten stronger, gas prices should be lower, dependance on foreign oil will have dropped dramatically as domestic drilling is increased, which would show a sharp contrast between how well conservatives operate the government versus liberals. Hopefully by then the conservative message would be heard, understood, and embraced.

Our Founding Fathers didn't shake off British rule in a day - it took many hard fought battles over many years, some of which they lost. Victory is incremental.

"We can expect them to "sit on their hands and send the GOP a strong message" and then hold their breaths until they turn into Smurfs."

And then turn around and bitch because BHO is still in office and say that we as a country deserve it. I can't get my head around anybody who calls themselves a patriot but sits on the sidelines and allow socialism to completely consume this country.

Exactly! The perception has taken hold and needs to be re-enforced over and over again until they are commonly ridiculed.

Until then, it should be a maximum, sustained effort for that result. That is the battle. And...

We, each of us, one and all, are the Minutemen!

We conservatives need to stop getting suckered in by liberal media trying to drive a wedge in between us.

Since when is the Boston Herald considered part of the Liberal media? They are the paper leading the charge against Elizabeth Warren and her lying about being Cherokee. The Boston Globe, which is owned by the New York Times, is the paper that Herald columnist Howie Carr refers to as the bow-tied bumkissers of Morrissey Boulevard.

It is amazing with some on FR. They claim the MSM is bias yet they turn around and quote papers like Politico, the Hill, The Atlantic, and one freeper actually posted a column by Dana Milbank to trash Boehner.

I don't have a problem with the 'quoting' of the liberal news sources. We all need to know what the other side is saying. I'm annoyed with the folks who BELIEVE what the libs are saying, without seemingly questioning the source, simply because of their animus towards Romney, Boehner, the GOP, etc.

Those folks seem to forget that the MSM wants to throw a monkey wrench into the election works this year, and will do everything they can to encourage conservatives who may not like Romney that much, to stay home from the polls. They know that is the ONLY way that Obama can keep the Presidency.

We are in violent agreement.

Despite the source, "Politics is the art of the possible"! In three election cycles, we could own this country again, but not with the "Principled Conservative Brigade", undercutting us at every turn.

Way too many people here don’t want to ... can’t handle the truth.

They prefer to believe the lying, left-wing media if said media has something bad to say about Romney.

REPEAL REPEAL REPEAL should be the mantra for GOP...Then, if they don’t do it... we break out the torches and pitchforks

Yeah, sure. We heard that during and after the Bush Presidency and most conservatives have still ended up falling in line with the establishment and supporting an even more liberal and untrustworthy candidate in Romney.

Romney and the establishment know they can do anything they want because there will never be any consequences. They can always pass the Democrats can always be passed off as the greater of two evils and win elections by doing so.

The time to hold Republicans accountable is now -- with the defeat of Romney. Conservatives with sense know that electing a liberal Republican will not advance conservatism. Liberal Republicans advance liberalism.

Scott Walker in 2016!

If you’re gonna hate on Romney, do NOT go against him on basis of what the Regressive Leftist media SAYS he says.

So, the hatred of him should be based on his liberal record?

Sadly, Obama doesn't even have to make up lies to attack Romney. A good number of the ads attacking Romney's failures are true.

But with ALL his faults - he is still an AMERICAN

And, he is still a liberal. And, liberals advance liberalism, not conservatism.

Why on earth do you think a repeat of the Bush Presidency -- or worse -- isn't the worst outcome of this election?

Romney gets in, sellouts conservatives, advances liberal policies that fail, Democrats take back Congress and the White House by 2016. And, in 2017 and 2018, Democrats inflict the same sort of damage they just did during the first two years of Obama's administration.

Wash, rinse and repeat...The definition if insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

The Bush Presidencies helped conservatives take the country back? You have to be kidding me. And, why would you think someone like Romney, who is more liberal and less principled than George W. Bush, isn't going to end up being as bad or worse than either Bush?

Liberals like Romney advance liberalism. They sign onto liberal policies that result in Democrats regaining power.

No, there is no possibility of things getting anything but worse under Romney. Until people you realize that, the country will continue to move further and further to the left with your vote.

No, it is a rerun of George W. Bush's Presidency that will give Democrats control of Congress and put another Democrat like Obama back into the White House.

Your "solution" sets conservatives back at least eight more years and eliminates any chance of a conservative like Scott Walker being elected in 2016.

So you think its BETTER to let Obama win AGAIN in 2012?

Please explain why that is better.

So you think its BETTER to let Obama win AGAIN in 2012?

That is better than eight years of Romney and/or another Democrat. Romney will move the country to the left and lead to a Democrat that will move it as far to the left as Obama did.

The best scenario is build up the greatest conservative majority in Congress and at the state level we have seen in our lifetimes and put Scott Walker or the equivalent in the White House in 2017. The election of Romney destroys that possibility, which is the ONLY hope we have to turn the nation around in the next five years.

Well, I agree with much of what you say. It IS important to have a conservative Congress to conrol Obama if he is re-elected - maybe even impeach him, and to keep Romney under control if he gets in.

And that part about local racces is important also. I keep talking about County and Town Committee positions as CRITICAL for taking over the GOP.
