I just told my Brother I really love the ones that are all across the sky and they shoot up like 7 quick bang bang reports before the ashes fall from the sky.

Must retire the 0500 Reveille approaches relentlessly.
The Bugler, his grim visage replete with an evil sneer, already mounts the parapet.
Do poor Tom some charity, whom the foul fiend vexes!
Good night, God bless you, and God bless the United States of America!
Godspeed our Troops around the Globe especially those in harms way by virtue of their service and sacrifice we continue to live in Freedom!

Calm and quiet at my house...hot dogs and macaroni salad. City fireworks later tonight, but some heard around the neighborhood already.

Oh my goodness, Mac....arthritis is not good. Glad you will be seeing the pain doc.
I just came in from throwing out corn to 2 sets of ducks and ducklings. 1 momma and 7 ducklings, almost as big as her, and another momma and the 6 remaining ducklings (started with 7), maybe 2 weeks younger. The two mommas can NOT get along. Try as I might throwing corn in two directions, they must come together and fight.

Thanks as always, K in A.
Brian an I were actually together in Operation Bold Mariner, 2/69. It was he from whom I learned the name of the project.
He honored me by writing that I was the first one on FR to ever tell him, “Welcome Home”.
68-69 Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, “Welcome Home”. RIP
