The once great USA died last Thursday. The American Dream, work hard and get ahead without oppressive Government interference, is gone for now. What will rise from the ashes of the Obama and SCOTUS destruction?
CLAN WALLACE ARM AND SWORD
“Maybe, but I doubt it... and if we can, it will not be done with ballots.”
I agree and have prepared for the death of this Republic. Only God’s intervention can save this country and, as a country, God has been thrown under the bus.

We are doomed. We have allowed God and His SON to be kicked out of this once fine country....we noaw have ABORTION CELEBRATED and HOMOSEXULAITY CELEBRATED even in our MILITARY. This cannot stand as a Godly country.
amen.
We are now all of that plus we have MORE BAORTIONS and MORE HOMOSEXUALITY than any other country.
I could not agree more with what you have said. I will work tirelessly to oust this POTUS. However, after much thought about this, if we lose I will withdraw from the Republican Party and change my status to Libertarian. I realize how important this election is, but will not continue to be a flag waver for a party that takes us into the abyss without a fight. I am starting to get queasy about this election and hope it is just nervousness. I am working the phones and walking precincts to get the word out. We should all be doing something to get rid of this guy. As for Romney, I think we will have to bring him over the line kicking and screaming so to speak. If he wins, I will work tirelessly to kick his ass to the right! and keep him there. We also need the Senate and the House and that is so important for us to succeed at keeping Romney where we need him. Tell you what Buckeye, this is as hard a job as the one I give 40hrs a week to. It should not be this hard, but alas, that is where we are in 2012.

It died when abortion was legalized, and the upholding of affirmative action was the final nail in the coffin.
When these patriotic WWII movies are aired, I wonder how many people realize the country at that time bears no resemblance to the United Socialist States of America today. A WWII soldier wouldn’t even recognize it.
I won’t go so far as to say “No American flags” (as they did at the Million Moocher March years ago), but
I would suggest using an earlier flag (such as the Revolutionary War flags you reference) to draw a distinction between real Americans and those who believe America is a socialist God-hating means to spread similar beliefs around the globe. The 50 star “Union” flag belongs to Obama and his ilk now; they “won”.
“Our republic survived Carter, and other poor presidents and activist judges, and far worse, including the Great Depression and WW2, and recovered and flourished.”
Aren’t you getting the impression that it hasn’t survived any of this? People from those times wouldn’t even recognize this sham.
No, our country is still here, and it is still great. People from that time will not recognize the country because we have grown, have become better in some ways and worse in others. Yes, times have changed, and it is a new war, fighting a domestic enemy that doesn’t want America to be great. The people who fought those battles before us would not want us to waste their efforts and sacrifices, but to keep making America better.
America only dies if we let it. I am sure there were those who feared for America in those times too, and maybe it is that fear that drove them to take up the fight on behalf of our country and its future. I take up the fight because I refuse to let the miserable bastards win.
I’m not advocating surrender; I just refuse to pretend it is the same country (unless we restore it), and I refuse to pretend our domestic enemies are Americans of a different political persuasion. They hated this country enough to destroy it; they know what they have created has nothing “American” about it. It is high time we matched the rhetoric of the left; don’t underestimate their hate.
In prior times, when people feared for this country, they interned the west coast Japanese (part of Alaska had been taken by the Japanese, and they held it for much of the war). We can’t even defeat the Muslims in Jersey City, and yet leave our troops with targets painted on their backs to be killed by Muslims halfway around the world.
Any abortion is one too many, but the USA is #4 on the list globally, just FYI.
The question is not what the statistics are, but what we are doing to change it.
I know you are not even considering surrender. I hope that no-one on FR is even thinking that.
I agree with your statements. It is not a friendly political war, it is a violent clash of ideologies, and ultimately worldviews, which have no common ground. Our freedom, as you say, is under attack from many directions. The liberals in government are allowing every freedom-hating ahole on the planet to abuse America, on every front conceivable.
There can be no compromise between freedom and tyranny. Tyranny wins every time. We must take power away from those who want to impose their will on us. It is up to us, not some politician or journalist or talk show host. It is time to show the courage that you speak of, and take back our country and our freedom.
Well put; keep the faith.
I’ve said on other threads that at this point I don’t even speak to liberals that may happen to be at a social gathering. People say you can’t live in a bubble; you can if the bubble is a really big one filled with like-minded people.
All,
Do any of my FRiends have a true patriotic on line source to browse and purchase alternative flags. I’d prefer avoiding amazon, ebay, etc.
Thanks for you help.
I thought about this thread some and in all honesty I don’t see this as the end game for liberty any more than it was when the “intolerable acts” were levied on the colonists. And I wonder if its just the nature of things that large governing bodies eventually become authoritarian and tyrannical in their practices over time. I for one do not intend to throw in the towel. Its too important for my family.
Rather than moping about I think its time to get creative. And very importantly, its time to have some fun in the process.
A lot of seniors are fired up, myself included. Anybody born after 1980 doesn’t have a clue about how America used to be. As far as they are concerned, everything is OK because that’s all they know. Anything that happened in the 30’s to the 60’s is history to them, unlike those of us in our 70’s who lived through those decades.
Unfortunately, our generation is now too old to literally fight and it’s unlikely that another Greatest Generation is going to arise from the populace now.
I don’t know what the answer is. All I know is that my beloved country is on the brink of something terrible and I don’t know if there are enough true Americans to avert the coming devastation.
My husband’s dad spent 3 years in the Solomon Islands. He died in 1966. My husband says his dad would be spinning in his grave if he could see how the Japanese are viewed today as our “friends”.
Notice that the countries we spent our blood and treasure on during WWII are now doing better than we are.
There should be a lesson in there somewhere.
