I would wager that the vast majority of FReepers already have health coverage that they pay for. I doubt very many will cancel it in protest.
Rush said that IRS has hired 16,000 new agents to primarily come after people who do not buy.
Not much if you are currently on or ready to go on these plans..though your premiums will continue to go up each year.
Younger people such as myself will probably not get medicare/SSA until age 70 or later.
Don’t buy? Pay the tax.
Don’t pay the Tax? Tax lien on your house.
Sell your house? Not until you pay off the lien.
We won’t even talk about wage garnishment.
I am an impoverished senior citizen, a widow, and just lost my home. And I will NOT submit. At least in jail I am guaranteed three hots and a cot.

Let them come. Perhaps it will be my case that comes before the SCOTUS when it is forced to revisit this “tax.”

No, we won’t buy it. We can’t afford it, no matter what the SCOTUS says. We had to drop it this year when our payments went to 1050.00 a month, and that was just for my hubby. I don’t have any insurance. We pay out of pocket for his meds and doctor appointments.
I kept hearing that same phrase all morning long at the top of every hour. "Most Americans" will have to buy health insurance. WTF?

Should the law still be in effect in 2014, we will not buy. Life is about choices, and this is one of ours.
I’m on SSI and Disability but not medicare.(won’t qualify till next yr).From what I hear the government will have access to our bank accounts,so they will probably take the funds out. If I have a choice I WILL NOT Buy this garbage. I also heard a portion of the money paid will go to support abortions.I will go to jail before I support baby killers.If I’m wrong please respond. Thank you, exactly — top of the hour!!! The entire time I fought against this, in protests, letters, etc., it was always “ALL”!!!!! Not like “all” makes it any better, but now we’ll see the usual insult to injury — such as how only approx. half of us pay income tax.
