One Republican Congressman, whom I believe they said was from Arizona, just said the same thing I said after this Ruling:
"Today, the Supreme Court awakened a sleeping giant. This changes the Election drastically." This has so angered people and will cause many to realize, this is no small matter. This is no game. We MUST Elect Mitt Romney, and a GOP House and Senate on November 6, 2012 so this ObamaCare Mess, our new Tax the Supremes gave us today, can be repealed and totally dismantled.
I believe this "victory" for the Obama Thug Brigade in the White House, will be short-lived. This will fire up people who were somewhat lackadaisical about this Election. We have to get the Marxist out of the White House.
It ain't over Mr. President. WE'RE JUST GETTING WARMED UP!!!
Well folks, you can kiss any business growth in the US goodbye. With the decision today by the Supreme Court the Constitutional foundation of this country is officially dead. Think there are enough of us left to fight this debacle? Think again. The entitlement mentality of a majority of Americans has left us with what will become unrecognizable to those of us who grew up prior to 1965.
After our generation, no one will even care. Constitution? Like like, wuzz that dude? Like we never heard of no constitution thingy.
Like dude, go way
To HELL with “protocol”!
This is war.
That you Jeremiah?
We must wake up! the Supream Court is now a branch of the White House. The liberal judges have won. We must put aside our differences and vote the Democrat/Progressives out or we will have no more USA. We must not only vote them out but break their back—They must be rendered impotent! Then we must root out the corruption in the media—if we must burn every Left wing newspaper to the ground.
Think—What will you do when Obama is re-elected? What will you do when the UN rules over an unarmed nation? What happens when the Supreme Court knocks down the 2nd amendment? You thought Syria was bad—the day will come when Americans will flee south to Mexico for freedom.
When will a substantial number of true patriots stand up to this tyrannical gov’t and demand the rights our forefathers recognized? Is it too late. How can we put feet to our values and do something concrete to save the Republic. With 50% on some kind of gov’t welfare and Congress and SCOTUS scoffing at God-given rights of individuals, we are doomed unless we rise up!
“No they didn’t, the vast majority of the country will just go back now and resume watching American Idol.”
You are spot on. In fact I have talked to several people and the general response has been, “Oh well, what can you do?” Followed by a simple shrug of the shoulders.
No ... that would be Roe v. Wade.
0bamacare is equal to Dred Scot as the second worst decision in SCOTUS history.
Take heart, and prepare!
The economy just shifted into high gear to slam into the fiscal cliff. We won’t have to wait long now, and the whole thing comes crashing down, with no way to support the leviathan.
It was the only way to kill it, really.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
The regulation of health care is neither prohibited by the States under the Constitution nor a delegated power granted under the Constitution. As such, the State is the proper place for such laws - not that I agree with the intent purpose or enactment of the law - but that was for the people of Massachusetts to decide - and I am far from Massachusetts.

I pray that all the FReepers who hate Romney, will realize that they hate , even more and will PLEASE not stay home or waste their vote on a 3rd Party Candidate but will vote for Romney and GOP candidates down the ballot on Novermber 6th.
You don't have to undo the ruling. The Supreme Court isn't the final say, they're one say in an endless round of says, one branch of three equal branches. That used to be understood, but leftist propaganda has made sure that for the past thirty years Americans have thought a Supreme Court ruling was "it." No. Congress, if it wished to, could go back today and strike the law and SCOTUS couldn't do a thing about it.

I will continue to do so until hopefully January 20, 2013.
Old Glory will not fly at my home until Jugears has been evicted from the White Hut.
Did anyone else notice that their TV’s displayed a required federal emergency test message just a few minutes ago? This one was different, in that it included all States, not just the local region/counties. It included D.C., Maine, Ohio, Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, plus others including Michigan. This has never happened before that I recall. I’m not a conspiracy nut, but does anyone else think this emergency test, consisting of extensive listing of states from Michigan over to the East coast, might be tied to the SCOTUS decision? Or was it just a coincidence?
This is the silver lining I see as well. Not know what Kennedy would do I don’t think Roberts wanted to chance a liberal writing the opinion so he exposed Obamacare for what it is - a big fat tax. That’s my hope anyway. This outrageous decision will hopefully create the majorities necessary in House and Senate to completely repeal this legislation.
As disgusted as I was by the decision in Kelo vs New London, that government shall not take private property except for public use was somehow the power to take private property for private use if there were some public benefit to be derived thereby - it DID prompt some legislation preventing such from occurring again.

According to the Institute for Justice, which represented Susette Kelo, 43 states have since passed laws that place limits and safeguards on eminent domain, giving property owners greater security in their homes.
