I'm curious: with what may be our country's most important Supreme Court decision due tomorrow, what do all you fellow Freepers see as our collective, national future - and your personal future - if ObamaCare is left intact?

Don't be worried, Obumbumcare will go down in flames, being declared unconstitutional (individual mandate) and since there is NO severablility clause in the Bill, the Supremos cannot keep any part of it because they legally cannot separate it from the unconstitutional part of the Bill. It is all or nothing!
At least, that is currently what the law says.

The fuse has already been lit on a revolution in the United States of America, with the over reach, fascist approach to stripping Americans of their basic constitutionally protected rights, dividing Americans by race, and stealing from them their hard earned income, only to give it to those selected and chosen by this out of control government.
WE THE PEOPLE are the government, those elected to office are supposed to be our “Representatives” not our mother and fathers deciding what is best for Americans and how to live our lives!
It is time to put the Genny back in the bottle from whence it came!

Caesar has already crossed the Rubicon and Rome is occupied.
Will he get his @ss kicked for it today is the question.
All I can say is that we've learned from history about the inevitable truth of Republics: They all eventually fall.

Wow, I'm a little unnerved that so many of us on this thread are pulling out the Caesar/Rubicon reference. I guess we all see exactly what has unfolded here.
Interesting times indeed.

bung= bunch I thought it was one of those weird grouping names. You know, like a pride of lions, a pod of whales, a murder of crows, a bung of goobermint ahole's. I mean, it fits.

Yes. After the initial shock wears off, we’ll fight it like rabid badgers.

Thanks.
Your concerns are all valid points.
They would be among the many penalties that we would have to endure in return for the increase in our Liberty.
Here is my basic assumption: In the long run, say the next two generations of Americans, The US Federal Government will cease to exist as a financial entity due to being absorbed by those who own our Federal Government Bonds.
Here is the hypothesis to be tested: IF this is to be our fate, THEN what course of action should be taken now?
Discussion: My opinions as to what to do now were summarized in my mini-blog that you read.
I have taken my stand, analogous to a frog jumping out of a pot of near boiling water.
I fully realize that most frogs will stay in the water and be boiled to death.
Such is human nature also, a fact not lost on Dictators such as Obama.
What say all of you?
