Sarah Palin says that Obama did not respect the balance of power in the federal government when he issued his executive order last week on immigration, that he is now just telling Americans what he deems best by fiat. It was so blatant that she also suggested that we go back and talk to some of his former students because it’s clear Obama doesn’t understand our constitutional process.
She was also asked about criticism that she didn’t mention Romney in her speech at Right Online. But her reason was simple, that it would have violated the ground rules based on AFP’s legal status as a non-profit. But she makes very clear where she stands and said that if the vote were had today, she wouldn’t blink in voting for Romney over Obama and maintains she’s always held the position of anybody but Obama.

It's one of the most painful schisms I've ever been a part of in this life. Romney, Obama, and the GOPe have forced the good people of this nation into a quandary of immense proportions. They've engineered a choice for us that might be compared to death by frying pan, or death by fire.
What sort of choice is that? Further, what stout hearted patriot would even allow themselves to be suckered into making such a 'choice'?
For you and I, and the many others here who clearly see this, the answer is clear. We choose to make the correct choice, which is resistance to the whole rotten enterprise.
As another Freeper said, we have lost the presidency this go round. We must concentrate on those national races where we honestly do have a choice, and whereby we can elect people who we deem trustworthy enough to forward the will of the people, in Washington. That is the strategy, going forward over the next four years. No matter the outcome of the presidential election, we'll be fighting the same beast.

As for "grand total of ... three," try 120 on the list of FReepers so far (I just added another name) who refuse to vote for Romney. Not just taken from this thread, but from dozens of threads I've read over the past week as I've been compiling this list just to see how many of us there actually are. I had estimated about 60. My expectations have been exceeded twofold. So far.
I totally respect the folks who'll be voting for Romney out of fear of Obama -- I think their fear is misplaced and I think there's a better way to make their vote count, but I respect them and consider them as fellow patriots. YOU, on the other hand, have always been a Romney supporter I would bet HARD COLD CASH, and the reason I woul bet that money is because you play the "Mormon hater" card.
Unlike most ABOers, conservatives who'll vote for Romney in spite of their better judgment, you are a statist liberal who is registered as a Republican. That's what I think.
