That's how they'll see this. Anything that promotes illegal immigration will alienate them mightily.

Most of the independents that I know, anecdotal for sure, don't like Obama, but dislike the evangelical side of the Republican party just as much. Most see them as a hate group.

Most independents won't be for dumping a million kids into the streets of a foreign country to fend for themselves.

So siding with the kids is a smart move. Pointing out Obama bye passing congress is another smart move. So I think it was handled well.

What amazes me about humans is, I wonder if we ever truly do get to the place where we’ve had enough? I think not, we keep doing the same insane things over and over and over, inviting the same old problems over and over and wondering like an insane nut why we have the same old insane problems. GEEZE no wonder we have so much insanity in society! Re-electing RINOS. You keep hearing the phrase drinking the Dem koolaide. well the GOP has it’s own koolaide...electing a RINO who votes with the dems, just to say an R has the seat.

Look at Snowe, Collins, Graham, ret Specter...and many other RINOS. They vote with the demRATS more times than they vote with the GOP.

Zebra’s CANNOT change their stripes, it’s inbred in them.

You can’t live 64 years and see how wrong our country has gone. Now illegal invaders get preferred treatment over our own US Seniors, Military, and average Joe and Jane Citizen.

If they do not like conditions in their country, go have yourself a revolution to your liking in YOUR country, quit trying to change mine.

Nothing burns me up more than to see a Mex flag above Old Glory. My dad risked life and limb to place our Flag back up on Corregidor when MacArthur retook the Rock. He was 503rd Airborne and jumped with our Flag, he a SGT and a private volunteered to do it. They were short men and made smaller targets for the snipers.

IT is a time of choosing either surrender or turn into our Founding Fathers, Molly Pitcher, the Green Mountain Boys. Or let the leftist take our country and our FREEDOM from us.

I DO NOT VOTE FOR RINOS they are dems in the gop label.

Ron Paul was merely a spoiler, he could never have won. I just loathe that the GOP/RNC establishment insists on forcing crap like Romney on us.

Judging by Mitt’s previous words, he will only give some kind of residency to the few (and known) thousand of illegals who signed up for military service, but not to anyone else.

Most independents won't be for dumping a million kids into the streets of a foreign country to fend for themselves.

What a dishonest scenario. If you need a false premise to construct an argument, you've got nothing. You know very well that the million kids would be deported with their three million parents and siblings. Nor do we have to deport them. They will self deport if the bennies dry up and they can't get a job.

“Vote Romney because his amnesty will be stautory and not based on an executive fiat.”

Sort of like, “Vote Romney because he only supports 50 state Obamacare programs and not a Federal Obamacare”

Romney may win because even the lapdog media is starting to turn on Obama, but if he does win, it will be without my vote.

Your attitude is the problem. WE DO NOT REWARD LAWLESSNESS

Make a bet. Wake Up!!!!!!

The only problem with immigration law is that no PARTY will enforce it. What greater reward is there to live in the greatest country on earth???

I have an attitude problem?? We have millions on illegals in this country and they are being rewarded with opportunity untold.

WE DO NOT REWARD LAWLESSNESS (What a joke)

Some purposefully commit crime enough to go to jail so that they can be treated for ailments that they cannot afford to treat “free”.

Of course this issue is HUGE, it is so interwoven in our society that I do not believe that our borders will ever be sealed or the the illegals sent home without blood flowing through the streets of this grand nation like never seen before.

I would very much like and appreciate a retraction on your very rash remark. It is not I who has an attitude problem.

I have three teenagers that I would like to inflict reality upon. But your idea seems to be about as good as any reason that I can think of to keep teenagers around the house. I have been keeping them around and even feeding them in order to get the lawn mowed and the snow shoveled but all in vain. Maybe your idea will work.

I didn’t say anything that I need to take back. I do not disagree with your response... what you say is very true. I just do not think that the threat of violence should stop us from sealing our borders and deporting illegals. If they want to riot... let them face battle hardened National Guard units. I think what we have here is worth fighting for... to the last man if necessary.

I am sorry if I offended you but I am not apologizing for my opinions and beliefs.

Can’t get any fairer than that. A man should not have to apologize for his beliefs.

I also agree with this: “I just do not think that the threat of violence should stop us from sealing our borders and deporting illegals. If they want to riot... let them face battle hardened National Guard units. I think what we have here is worth fighting for... to the last man if necessary”

Those "children" are getting in-state tuition rates as we speak. They'll be offered affirmative action hiring too.

You are either an idiot or a dissembler looking to pay cut-rate wages. Take your pick. I pick the latter.

I realize the law as written prevents it. And I realize that some people have joined using false documents.

But, based on at least my research, I've found the Army at least can grant waivers for almost anything, including immigration status, and may have done that at times over the course of the last decade of war.

Nonetheless, we both recognize that it's just a handful of cases in question and Zero is trying to conflate criminal border jumpers with these very few people (all of whom are known by name, rank, and serial number).

Nothing was forced. The people voted. It's like the dems screaming that we bought the election in WI. People voted. They chose Scott Walker. And the majority of voting Republicans voted for Mitt Romney. It is what it is.
