I was thinking that the tank in question might have acted like the head of a modern golf club (a driver) or an aluminum baseball bat. They deform on impact with the ball, but not beyond their elastic range. When they pop back into shape, they impart a lot of stored energy to the ball; and that’s why the ball goes further than it would have (if hit by a “wood” or a wooden bat). All this physics happens in a small fraction of a second.
If the tank were just a little less resilient, then your scenario would have played out.
Deport them ALL, before they spawn an anchor baby or two!

Just another example of how illegals help clean the gene pool. a job that way to many Americans won’t do.
I know Little Mexico, it’s down Tower Road and not far south of Bus 83. El Gato road is the northern boundary, or close to it. My work responsibilities required me to be there from time to time and I can tell you, there are no Americans for miles around.
This is not the only incident to come out of Little Mexico recently, just the only one widely publicized. Shootings and shootouts are a daily occurrence but they only involve “undocumented visitors”.
According to my high level Border Patrol Intelligence resource, over 50% of the Rio Grande Valley population is illegal. Sorry! I meant “undocumented”.
The staff of the local McAllen Monitor are pretty much all left wing progressives that support the LGBT sector and are really down on guns. They report semi-automatic weapons as “automatic” and “machine guns”.
However, they did provide full coverage of the “Naked Bike Ride”, where the organizer rode in woman’s garter belt and stockings.
