Zimmerman 'does not properly respect the law,' judge says in order revoking bond

The judge who revoked George Zimmerman's bond did so after he determined that it was "apparent" that Zimmerman's wife had lied under oath, and clear that Zimmerman "does not properly respect the law."

Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's bond on June 1, but his written order was filed Monday. In it, Lester lays out his rationale.

He should have stepped in when there were questions about the fund and told the judge he would get a complete accounting. Thus ending any potential problems for the prosecution to exploit.

The door's behind him (by several feet), the photo seems to be taken by somebody closer to height of his chin (eye level and knowing high school students, more likely a girl), and in the photo he's not close to the height of the doors that are behind him - so remember perspective - and his tennis shoes may add 2" to his height.

I believe Martin's about 6'0" tall.

BTW, I have a 4'10" daughter with a 6'2" boyfriend. Unless this girl's well under 4'10" . . .

Good job. I like the different font colors.

One thing you should know about me, is that I don't enjoy seeing the life of a young man terminated.  I don't care what color the kid is, I want to see him live a good long enjoyable life as a productive member of society.  I am sorry that Travon is dead.  I believe we share that sorrow.

With break-ins in the complex, Zimmerman had been asked to take part in trying to put a stop to them.  I don't know if he saw Travon looking at one or more units as if studying them or not, but something keyed him in on Travon.  We don't see any mention of race, so I'm not convinced that was a factor.  There were Blacks living in the units he was tasked with trying to reduce the crime rate for.  He was as much working for them as against Travon.  I don't see racism here.

If Zimmerman had approached Travon inapropriately, Travon could have called the police later on to report him.  He didn't have to take matters into his own hands either.

For me, the blame here is a push at worst, as it relates to Zimmerman.

When you state that Travon would still be alive if Zimmerman had stayed in his car, that is half the story.  Travon would still be alive if he hadn't fired off on Zimmerman too. 

When I see folks focus on Zimmerman, I see it as ignoring other things to make him look like the real bad guy.  I take offense to that.

Zimmerman was a private citizen trying to help reduce crime in his community.  Even though he was not a police officer, he did deserve community support if he feared his life was in danger while trying to carry out his mandate on behalf of his fellow residents.  If he broke laws, he should be held accountable.  Whether or not, he deserves to be treated respectfully, and fairly.

I was sarcastic and snide with my comments.  I think you have a right to be miffed about that.

As for the colors, I try to place my responses right by the comments I'm addressing.  Some folks don't like it.  I can understand that.

If your comments were sincere, I think they speak highly of you.  If you were being sarcastic, I think that's fair in light of my response.

Perhaps, but I don't think you would see the top of the girl's head so clearly if the camera were level with the girl's chin. Also, you are looking almost level with Martin's chin and yet he does not appear to be tilting his head down. If the camera were level with the girl's chin you would see under Martin's chin unless he had his head tilted forward rather drastically.

Just my opinion.

If you're correct, then it's an even greater argument that Trayvon is not over 6'0" tall, because it increases the angle from the camera's point of view to the top of the door behind Martin.

ABCNNBCBS all reported his height at 6’1” on some occasions and 6”3” on other occasions. Where did they get those measurements??? from his school??? one source said his parents. That is all we had to go on until the prosecutor released the forensic evidence and autopsy. The one inch difference may be that one was a measurement with shoes on and the other with shoes off.

It ends up being a new bond. He has to do the same "how much do you have" routine, again, and Zimmerman has $15,000 less now than he did the first time around. Maybe the bail bondsman is Lester's brother in law or something.

It would appear that Zimmerman has a WHOLE lot less than he did before, since he is apparently on an allowance for living expenses. MOM wisely put the money out of his reach. I wonder if Lester can legally confiscate it now. I wouldn't put it past him, that's for sure.

After this there is a discussion about where exactly in the complex Zimmerman is at. He is looking for an address in the complex.
