It has been a Junius Horribilis for President Obama.
Job growth has stalled, the Democrats have been humiliated in Wisconsin, the attorney general is facing a contempt-of-Congress citation, talks with Pakistan have broken down, Bill Clinton is contradicting Obama, Mitt Romney is outraising him, Democrats and Republicans alike are complaining about a cascade of national-security leaks from his administration, and he is now on record as saying that the private sector is doing fine.
Could it get any worse?
Early Monday morning, Obama learned that it could. His aides delivered the news to him that his commerce secretary had been cited for a felony hit-and-run after allegedly crashing his car three times over the weekend. In one incident, the previously obscure Cabinet officer apparently rear-ended a Buick, spoke to the cars occupants, then hit the vehicle again as he left.
SNIP
For the White House, it was just the latest entry in the when-it-rains-it-pours ledger. This has been one of the worst stretches of the Obama presidency. In Washington, there is a creeping sense that the bottom has fallen out and that there may be no second term. Privately, senior Obama advisers say they are no longer expecting much economic improvement before the election.
Carney had the unenviable task of confronting the full arsenal of gloom at Monday afternoons briefing.
The AP asked about the presidents unfortunate private-sector-is-fine remark. The Reuters correspondent asked about the economic head winds from Europe. Ed Henry of Fox News Channel asked about the looming contempt-of-Congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder. Margaret Talev of Bloomberg News asked about the Supreme Court striking down Obamacare. Norah ODonnell of CBS News asked about calls for a special prosecutor to probe leaks. Victoria Jones of Talk Radio News asked about the stalled talks with Pakistan.

President 44 where are you?
I don’t see that happening but anything is possible with our electorate.
Hey, you wanted your 15 minutes of fame. Better make it good.
Yah, the “car” analogy has been overused, plus there’s “Gov’t Motors”.
While this is all good and encouraging news, the simple fact is, Joe Schidtt the Rag-Man ought to be able to defeat Barry Obama-Soetoro - the undocumented, inexperienced, over-his-head President.
Slurpie and Skittles. As innocent as a convulsive lamb.
...... anything is possible with our electorate.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president. — Author Unknown
Don’t discount Obama or his Czars, there is peril all around.
Car 54 where are you?
Dont discount Obama or his Czars, there is peril all around.
A minimum requirement to run for president should be that you have successfully run a lemonade stand or a hot dog stand and actually made a profit. ZERO has never run ANYTHING in his whole career. He was a community organizer (aka rabble rouser) then a law professor, then a back bencher in Illinois & US senates. He has ZERO executive experience. Which is why I refer to him as ZERO.
LOL!
Could it get any worse?
YES ... if, the job market continues to tank ... or, if the Euro collapses ... or, any of a half dozen European countries collapse economically ... or if Japan collapses ... or, the dollar collapses due to any number of factors ... or, if U.S. sovereign debt ratings are downgraded again ... or, if Congress is forced to somehow deal with increasing the debt limit before the election ... or, if Fed money printing continues unabated ... or, if derivative calls trigger the mother of all bailouts ... or, if bank runs start in earnest ... or, if the Dow drops below 10,000 ... or, if the real estate market tanks another 20-30 percent ... or, if something else triggers a worldwide depression ... or, if ObamaCare is tossed by the Supreme Court ... or if we suffer a terrorist attack on U.S. soil ... or, if we get involved in the Syrian/Libyan/Egyptian civil wars ... or, if Israel and Iran go at each other ... or, if the price of crude oil soars ... or, if any number of other bad things happen, ... THEN YES, things will get worse for the Royal Idiot!
Bryson-He can’t handle the truth. (Issa is after him)
Weird this happened on Sat. when Bryson got the letter on Friday.
House Republicans are broadening their probe of the Department of Energys largest solar-loan guarantee. Rep. Darrell Issa, the California Republican who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, sent letters to the White House and BrightSource Energy Inc., the loan-guarantee recipient, asking for e-mails and other documents related to the $1.6 billion deal. A second letter from the committee asks the White House to turn over all internal communications related to BrightSource, including with the companys investors and with utilities set to buy its electricity. It also asks for an explanation of how Commerce Secretary John Bryson, BrightSources former chairman, was vetted for his current post.

You know how there are so many sports fans that only tune in for the World Series or the NBA Finals or the US Open?
I have a feeling that the electorate is sort of that way vis a vis presidential politics.
While we at FR are like the sports junkies that follow every preseason game, every minor league transaction, much of the electorate is more like the “tune in for the World Series” set.
While we at FR have known since day 1 what a disaster Hussein is and was, it’s like the rest of the country is just now tuning in and finally figuring it out.
The guy has been a disaster all along but it’s only now that the country has stopped watching American Idol and Dancing with Stars to look around and see what’s what.
To the “administration” it seems like they’re having a bad month - when actually it’s just a function of attention finally being paid.
Greece will hold elections which will bring the Left to power and cause a rapid exit from the Euro Zone, with all of the attendant consequeces, and
The Supreme Court of the United States will strike down part or all of Obamacare, leaving Brak's signature accomplishment as a testament to strongarm politics on the Ashheap of History.
Brak's bad month is far from over.
