In an interview, 36-year-old George P. Bush is as plain-spoken as his grandmother Barbara, who in his telling wears the pants in the Bush family. And while he says his father Jeb, the former governor of Florida, is sincere when he says he isnt campaigning to join the Romney ticket, George P. also strongly suggests that his dad would say yes if asked: If called upon to serve, he will, he says flatly

Add Obama to that list too.
Wanna bet?
There are already enough reasons why Romney should not be the republican candidate, selecting GOP-e Bush would be another.
NO one grounded in reality would even consider this.

Just a side note what makes you think Romney is in ANY way grounded in reality?!
The guy wears holy underwear, believes in gold plates and people that don’t exist, and global warming and mandated healthcare.
He is as far from reality as many get, he may think Jeb is a conservative...
greatest mistake ever committed by an American candidate for the office of President.

Even greater than destroying a newspaper that was about to expose you which led to the gunfight that precipitated your death?
Then again, maybe this would be a bigger mistake...
Wonderful! The whole ticket would be a snooze fest.
Expecting Hillary Romney to nominate someone like her, maybe even Hillary herself. Federal control, of everything.
When did his Mexican mother become a U.S. citizen?
Was it before or after he was born?
Romney could choose someone more conservative than he—and have it still be a RINO.
That is an interesting thought, Romney is too arrogant to realize he needs to have a conservative on the ticket.

His father was born in Mexico.
First sentence from the post.
“In an interview, 36-year-old George P. Bush is as plain-spoken as his grandmother Barbara, who in his telling wears the pants in the Bush family.”
Intersting that after all these posts so far, nobody has commented on this simple assertion. Exactly what my Mom told me in 1980, 32 years ago.
Didn’t Kissinger assure China that Jeb Bush would be the next President? (Putting on my tinfoil): If I were Romney, I wouldn’t choose Jeb Bush for VP as a simple matter of self-preservation...
“It’s true hussein.....my son did say that islam was the ‘religion of peace’! He loves you guys! In fact, he and I have been in the rack deep with the saudis for years, even after what they did to us on 9/11 and a lot of the stupid American sheeple STILL love us! Is this a great Country or what barry....oops, sorry about that, barack.”
If Romney truly wants to win he’d better find another VP. A conservative would be a better choice. JEB is a ticket to loss.
Uh...NO THANKS!
We have enough McCain’s pretending to be conservative, while undercutting conservative victories, in progress.
Jeb’s crazy wife, Columba, was born in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
I agree. W as a person is truly a good man. As a fiscally responsible POTUS, not so much.
The way the scenario plays out for me, is a message by a proxy. I understand it was from George P. but in my experience, there are no coincidences when it comes to politics.
