Anyone that has seen a satellite or ICBM test launch fro Vandenburg knows that was a late sunset shot with smoke trail lit up and twisted by high altitude winds.

Which way the last stage was headed, can't say from the camera waving around.

Help me out here. If it was the Russky missile test that was seen, how could it be observed as far away as in Israel; and howcum Israelis were the only ones to see/report it?

It's funny how the rocket plume down near the horizon reminds me of the "airliner contrail" that was off our West Coast in the Autumn of 2010.

We have testing out here at Edwards Air Force base. I don’t see the initial missile trail, but within minutes the trail spreads, and the high altitude winds cause it to look all curly-cue like.

That’s what the people are seeing.

Having a hard time believing a missile fired from south east Russia hitting a target in Kazakhstan (west of launch site) would be visible in Israel. Missile was launched many 100s of miles north and west of Israel. Am I missing something?

It was not "travelling in a spiral." It was a travelling light in the sky (leaving a rocket exhaust) that was DESTROYED in a spiral.

It was a shoot-down of a missile by a scalar weapon.

Either Israel was giving an example to the world of their capabilities, or someone actually fired on Israel and they shot it down.

Nukes are just so 20th century, doncha know.
