"Schultz warned that victory for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker could foreshadow President Obama's defeat in the fall -- and a permanent GOP lock on the presidency"
One could only hope. Typical histrionics from one of their stalwart hysterics. If things don't go Democrats' way 100% of the time, the world is going to end shortly . . . that or they are going to move to some unspecified socialist paradise.
Actually, any party having a lock on the White House would be bad, but if it had to be, we would be far better off with it in Republican hands than in the Dumb-uh-crats.

Pure hyperbole! Any voting group that would elect an Obama in the first place can’t be said to be infallible. As a case in point, Clinton was re-elected. Don’t worry Ed, your side has all but won in it’s desire to destroy America.

ahhhhhh Romney is a democrat. All this means is he believes the republican party will have become the democrat party. A process already underway through reverse assimilation.

Schultz is nuts, but both sides play this game. I remember just after 2004, with Bush's re-election and a GOP House and Senate AND control of most statehouses doing redistricting that people on our side were insisting that Rove had "put the Republicans in power for 20 years." Likewise, after 2008, it was all over---there was never going to be another free election, ever. (We heard the same thing in 1996---that Clinton would NEVER leave office).
As badly damaged as it is, our system has survived Zero, and even if they do everything right, a GOP House, Senate, and President (particularly a lib like Mitt) will quickly alienate a significant swath of voters.
I'm sure fieldmarshaldj can jump in with the stats, but even when Republicans dominated from 1865-1912, large parts of the midwest swung back and forth, and elections were close.

Promises, promises, promises.
Any way - The republican party today is to the left of where the democrat party was in 1960 so we don’t need the democrats anymore.
What we do need is an opposition party that will represent normal people WHO ARE CITIZENS, and govern constitutionally.
