Panicky Ed Schultz Predicts: If Romney Wins, There'll 'Never Be a Democratic President Again'
NewsBusters ^ | 5/31/2012 | Jack Coleman

In a related development, the Republican National Committee is extending heartfelt thanks to Ed Schultz for his help with their get-out-the-vote efforts. Further confirmation that the June 5 recall election in Wisconsin has liberals more spooked than usual was provided yesterday courtesy of radio host and MSNBC flamethrower Ed Schultz.

Departing from trademark bluster, Schultz warned that victory for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker could foreshadow President Obama's defeat in the fall -- and a permanent GOP lock on the presidency

If Romney wins, it will be because Obama the democrat has disgraced and ruined this country during his reign.

Schultz is nuts, but both sides play this game. I remember just after 2004, with Bush's re-election and a GOP House and Senate AND control of most statehouses doing redistricting that people on our side were insisting that Rove had "put the Republicans in power for 20 years." Likewise, after 2008, it was all over---there was never going to be another free election, ever. (We heard the same thing in 1996---that Clinton would NEVER leave office).

As badly damaged as it is, our system has survived Zero, and even if they do everything right, a GOP House, Senate, and President (particularly a lib like Mitt) will quickly alienate a significant swath of voters.

I'm sure fieldmarshaldj can jump in with the stats, but even when Republicans dominated from 1865-1912, large parts of the midwest swung back and forth, and elections were close.

Promises, promises, promises.

Any way - The republican party today is to the left of where the democrat party was in 1960 so we don’t need the democrats anymore.

What we do need is an opposition party that will represent normal people WHO ARE CITIZENS, and govern constitutionally.

The title reminds me of a favorite tactic of mine.

If you really want to piss off a Democrat, correct them in the use of the term.

If they say "Democratic Party", find a way to use "Democrat Party" in the next sentence.

They will then commence to try to correct you.

Repeat until their head explodes.

They are trying to set it up that if Mitt Romney gets elected, if Mitt Romney gets elected, there will never be a Democratic president again in the history of the United States.

If he will stop voter fraud, that could very well be true.

I am still disgusted that W didn't do anything about it when he had the chance.

Panicky Ed Schultz Predicts: If Romney Wins, There'll 'Never Be a Democratic President Again'

I say, if I were to become president, There'll 'Never Be a Democratic President Again'

That's not the only item that would be taken care of, UNCONSTITUTIONALLY!

No questions or inquiries, please, TIA.

Don’t worry Ed. Castro or Chavez will welcome you with open arms and gladly provide government housing for you. Then you can spend your golden years in a country more to your liking.

If the ‘Rats continue to thrust socialists like BO on the
Republic then they certainly don’t deserve to hold the
presidency for a long, long, long time.

Of course not because they’ll have made it a one party system. They’d have to rename it to The New World Order Party.

I really wish that were true, but I fear it isn’t true...I remember when Carter was crushed...crushed by Reagan...and for good measure Mondull had his ass completely and thoroughly kicked all over the nation in 1984.

Eight years later, a lip biting liar took over the White House.

He proceeded to ignore the threats to America—focusing instead on “triangulation” in domestic politics. He treated the terrorists like criminals, and less than a decade after that we had a 3,000 dead Americans and smoldering ruins in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon.

Of course no one could have seen that coming—I really don’t blame him personally as I think it was cultural. I fear, deeply, that most of America has forgotten the lesson that 9/11 taught us about taking the terrorist threat seriously.
