I really wish that were true, but I fear it isn’t true...I remember when Carter was crushed...crushed by Reagan...and for good measure Mondull had his ass completely and thoroughly kicked all over the nation in 1984.

He proceeded to ignore the threats to America—focusing instead on “triangulation” in domestic politics. He treated the terrorists like criminals, and less than a decade after that we had a 3,000 dead Americans and smoldering ruins in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon.
Of course no one could have seen that coming—I really don’t blame him personally as I think it was cultural. I fear, deeply, that most of America has forgotten the lesson that 9/11 taught us about taking the terrorist threat seriously.
Any, I digressed in post 40. I meant to say that a Democrat someday WILL be elected, even though Obamugabe will probably get his ass kicked in November.
Americans, sadly, will forget how bad it was under this clown, just like many have forgot (or never learned) what it was like under Carter.
