25 people shot, one dead, across city

More than two dozen people were shot across the city between late Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning.

One died and several others are in critical condition in shootings that left a total of 25 people injured, according to police. A 6-year-old girl was among the wounded.

Maybe Chicago should pass a law against shooting - put up “No Gun Zone” signs. That should help. It worked for the “No Drug Zone” signs. Right?

Fatherless boys, brought up by probably hard-working women, who taught them to do right.

UNFORTUNATELY, the fatherless boys are often motherless because mother works two jobs. She didn't HAVE to get knocked up at 14 and have out of wedlock children, but she probably had an absent father too.

It's a cycle that shouldn't be. It doesn't happen in African tribes. It's an American phenomenon brought on by fatherless boys AND girls who don't have the "hammer" (daddy) to show the boys how to deal with life as an African-American male and the girls how to deal with life as an African-American girl.

Part of the problem is the hyphenated American syndrome. It will continue to be a problem when people identify themselves with hyphenation.

As to the African-American fatherless children....only AFRICAN-AMERICANS can deal with that. Maybe they MIGHT start with
1. ditching the hyphen;
2. INSISTING on sex in marriage, or if they aren't Catholic, birth control, birth control, birth control;
3. ditch the man-gotta-screw image for their boys and
4. get the girls to "just say no."

Am I being OUTLANDISH in these suggestions?

The real cure is two thirds of an old movie line. In this case, send guns and ammo. No lawyers, Chicago has more than it can stand as it is.

Send the guns and ammo to Chicago’s trash areas.

Armed trash is getting better and better at thinning the herd of trash, and Chicago has quite a herd.

Do it for Chicago, do it for America.

OF COURSE, they were to blame. Those young men are, WITHOUT DOUBT, fatherless too. It's the same miserable existence these boys go through: girls who HAVE to screw and end up dropping a bunch of fatherless children. The girls, of course, haven't enough education to go beyond entry-level jobs so THEY stay poor all their lives and repeat the same miserable existence for THEIR brood of bastards.

You give these biological female parents too much credit. Most likely their spawn is used as an EITC, EBT, AFDC, WICs, SNAP, SCHIP, etc. qualifier. They are the same cows who call the local reporters and hold up their electric/gas bills for a picture while the widescreen TV, X-Box, Wii and the electric space heaters are in the background.

And don't forget when they hit the lottery when their offspring gets killed by a white or white-hispanic....Gravy Train!. No sympathies here whatsoever.

I don't give a damn about 'cycles'. I want sane people back in charge that flat out tell these heifer breed cows that they can no longer make money off of having children, period. Leeches all. When they stop getting paid to have babies, they will move on to other endeavors.
