A group of 18 people dressed in black, wearing masks, wielding steel batons and hammers and claiming to be extreme anti-racists allegedly stormed a suburban Chicago family restaurant in broad daylight to assault a meeting of alleged white supremacists, officials said.
Ten people were injured and at least three required treatment for head wounds as a result of the attack Saturday at the Ashford House Restaurant in Tinley Park, Ill., a quiet Chicago suburb. The restaurant sustained $15,000 in damages including broken plates, glasses and furniture.
"I've been mayor for 31 years," Tinley Park Mayor Ed Zabrocki tells ABC News, "and I've never heard of anything stranger than this."
Five of the attackers were caught and have now been charged with aggravated battery, mob action and criminal damage to property, all felonies. Brothers Jason, Cody and Dylan Sutherlin, along with Alex Stuck and John Tucker are all from Indiana. The men are connected to the Hoosier Anti-Racist Movement (H.A.R.M.) whose website now claims them as "The Tinley Park 5?.
Meanwhile the targets of their attack were about a dozen members of the Illinois European Heritage Association...

Two of these victims were also caught up in the police investigation following the incident: Steven Speers of North Dakota was arrested on an outstanding warrant for possession of child pornography and Francis Gilroy of Florida was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
A restaurant surveillance camera captured some of the melee on video and Zabrocki viewed it before it was turned over to prosecutors as evidence in the investigation.
"You see the door opens up, these 15, 18 people walk in. They've got hoods on, they've got masks on," Zabrocki said.

I don't like it. No other country has ever integrated so many cultures and races so well and extended the protection of its laws so equally, more than equally.

How about you come up with a list of white-on-black physical crimes committed by stormfronters, and compare it with a list of Leftist-against-conservative and black-on-white physical crimes?
As far as I am concerned, the stormfronters can TALK as much as they want about their ideology, as long as they do not commit actual physical crimes (which I define as harming the bodies or property of anyone, and excludes any "offense against feelings"), just as Nation of Islam can TALK their spew, as long as it does not result in physical crimes.
I hadn't thought about it in those terms; thanks for clarifying my thinking. I was thinking more along the lines of a situation we had locally when it was hard left (union thugs) vs. far left (enviro whackos) regarding ocean dumping. Fun to watch!
You are right, it is wrong for them to be attacked, but I still won't weep for them. That kind of example may be useful in getting some people to rethink their leftist proclivities, when their "own kind" turns on their "own kind".

I absolutely agree. But we have to get most whites on the same page, somehow. I don't think anyone wants to go around with a guilt complex if it really isn't deserved. Whites just have to be taught on one hand that it isn't deserved. And on the other hand, whites have to see that there are minority racists that will hurt them and do hurt whites and the greater society under liberalism. I believe in tolerance but not to the point of suicide or at the expense of equal treatment.

Racism is the worst possible evil, the only inexcusable evil really. Only whites can be racist and almost all white people are racist. Black people (in stark contrast with whites in particular) are inherently possessed of a nobility and wisdom and coolness that none others hold.
This is the commie catechism. It pervades the media and the public education system, and it infects the thinking of most Americans, even many self-styled conservatives.

Go back to the FR threads when Michael Steele was first named RNC chairman and see how he is praised.

What you say is true. However if you form a group to promote this way of thinking it will be called racist, your meetings will be physically attacked by fascistic leftists, and these attacks will be ignored or even excused by self-conceived conservatives, even here on FR.
It is an uphill battle to be sure.
