Penn State panelists attack "deniers" Rush Limbaugh, George W. Bush, Christopher Monckton, Fox News, and The Wall Street Journal.

Penn State "climate ethics" professor Donald Brown accused global warming skeptics late last month of committing "new crimes against humanity."

"We've lost 25 years," said Brown, referring to so-called global warming skeptics' efforts to delay and prevent government action on climate change. "I think we should encourage a conversation whether this is some sort of kind of new crime against humanity." "Its really evil stuff," continued Brown, speaking to a classroom of students on April 30. "It's nasty."

Brown, the Associate Professor of Environmental Ethics, Science, and Law at Penn State, was speaking in a panel discussion "Changing the Moral Climate on Climate Change" alongside Dr. Michael Mann, a Penn State professor who was at the center of the 2009 "Climategate" scandal.

Mann and others on the panel also attacked prominent climate change skeptics including talk show host Rush Limbaugh, former President George W. Bush, British statesman Christopher Monckton, the Fox News Channel, and The Wall Street Journal.

Schuhman added it was "pretty unacceptable" that colleagues at the university had used the Wall Street Journal and videos of British statesman Christopher Monckton in the classroom to represent the skeptic's view of global warming.

The big difference is, “They propose to persecute others for ‘crimes against humanity’, if they achieve the dictatorial political power to do so. We propose that they face the criminal law for the crimes they are doing today, under our common law, not the law of the genocidal dictator they desire.”
