The stunning expansion of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Washington, D.C., area is profiled in a long, interesting and meticulously accurate CNN story that suggests "the nation's capital has become a Mormon stronghold, with Latter-day Saints playing a big and growing role in the Washington establishment."
-SNIP-
"It's hard to point to federal legislation or a White House initiative that bears distinctly Mormon fingerprints," Gilgoff writes, "while it's easy to do the same for other faiths." He cites as an example a recent White House "compromise" on contraception funding, which he says was "mostly a reaction to pressure from Roman Catholic bishops."

Blah, Blah, Blah, any person who does not hate Moromons and who has an IQ over 80 would realize that there is a group of Mormons haters on this forum.

Anyone with an IQ over 80 should be able to tell the difference between mormons and mornomISM.
I do not hate mormons, I love my very large mormon family and many mormon friends.
I do detest mormonISM

Of course. I should have asked you first.
Wow! Sixty-five percent of Mormons are conservative. That's 15% higher than evangelicals.

How can you separate Mormons from mormonism? Don't Mormons practice mormonism...something you hate? If they live their lives in mormonism, their lives must be disgusting and hateful to you.
There's a question. What makes the lives of Mormons different from non-Mormons?

This is a good article about influence and mormons pushing Reid over the top.
http://blog.beliefnet.com/religionandpubliclife/2010/06/reids-mormon-support.html
I’ll keep looking for the links about Reid and percentage of mormons who support him.
I am not sure if you are aware/care, Reid is a temple worthy mormon, only 15% or so reach that high level. He has also received awards from BYU for being a good example of what a mormon should be.

You're just throwing up dust. Everything I've read says his support has been steadily eroding over the years and now the majority of Mormon voters in Nevada no longer support him.
At his meeting with Mormon business leaders, they heckled and booed him. One of his campaign events at a Mormon church was canceled because they objected.

I haven’t thrown anything up since the last time I was pregnant.
You asked, I provided and said I would find more.
No need to waste my time looking then.

OMG, I was so sick when I was pregnant, I remember feeling sick when I was asleep. I just meant "throw up dust" into the air. Crap, I'm feeling nauseous just remembering, now.
I found article after article stating that Mormons didn't and don't support Reid. If you find some that refute that I'd appreciate it. That would be interesting.
I know some Nevada Mormons presented him with a statement supporting the ban on gay marriage and he refused to sign it.

The google picture is not taken from the most advantageous perspective. Good pictures are hard to find ... the whole thing happened before digital cameras were available. I was just looking for the bridge with that Google shot. I was surprised to see remnants of 'Surrender Dorothy' still on it :)

Bigot .....It is the lazy man's way out of a disagreement and its over use waters down that reaction when true bigotry is in play, a different version of crying wolf shall we say... Yes indeed...and that's spot on. Also agree it's way overused today....which then attests to the fact the truth IS being told and falsehood is being exposed...or Bigot wouldn't be used so much.

Huge difference bewteen JFK’S Run and Romney’s in relationship to their church.
Mormons believe fully Romney will be the Mormon “King” ...and so does he.....that’s why he and they will spare no expense on getting him into office.....Catholics nor the Pope saw JFK that way and neither did he.

Mormons worked publicly and hard to block gay marriage in California

No they were just doing busy work so that they wouldnt have to support the non-Mormon John Mccain...
Ya notice nothing is distracting then this time now that they have their own boy in place ???
If Wee Willie had not suceeded in destroying the Conservative candidates, the Mormons would have found something to occupy their time and money...
Even if it was finger painting the crosswalks in temple square..
