San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee will rename a street after former-Speaker Nancy Pelosi today in Golden Gate Park.
"Middle Drive East" which connects Martin Luthjer King Jr. Drive and John F Kennedy Drive in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park will now be renamed in honor of Pelosi and her 25 years of service in Congress.

Any Speaker of the House who tells the American people “we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it” is not worth taking seriously about anything, and certainly, in a sane locale, would not be given any sort of honor at all.
I did not know that Nancy was a transexual.
It will surely need speed bumps, frequent repaving, pothole patrols, frost heave warning signs, turtle crossings and a left lane only.

“Dead End” is what I was thinking. A much better, more realistic name for a street in San Francisco, ‘cause ulimately that is where the road they take will lead.

I read that as Middle East Dr.
The thing I remember most about SF was watching the evening news showing the gays raiding Fredericks of Hollywood. They emptied it to the bare walls. We had just left that area an hour before because we didn’t want to be out on Halloween. If there was any city that should have a street named after Pelosi, SF is it.
