San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee will rename a street after former-Speaker Nancy Pelosi today in Golden Gate Park.
"Middle Drive East" which connects Martin Luthjer King Jr. Drive and John F Kennedy Drive in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park will now be renamed in honor of Pelosi and her 25 years of service in Congress.

....cause, after all, she really has made the world a better place (extreme sarcasm)

Botox Blvd I beat you to it. lol
LOL Thank you.
LOL Thank you.
So now I guess Lombard St. will only be the SECOND most crooked street in San Francisco!! LOL.....
I ended up on a one way street in Jacksonville Flordia that intersected a cross street that was one way both ways.
It was three streets meeting, no matter which way you went at the intersection, you were going the wrong way.
That is exactly how any street named after San Fran Nan should be set up.
My first thought on her bs.
I guess Baltimore can be overlooked because they named a street after her when she became the first female speaker, before she showed her true idiocy.
Dead At Both Ends is more like it.
Hasn’t she been ridden enough?
It’s the yellow brick road!
I assume the road runs downhill ....
Now I hate to tell such a plain truth, but I must — the bulk of San Francisco’s liberality seems sometimes actuated by a love of applause. She don’t always take kindly to a good deed for a good deed’s sake, but pat her on the head, and flatter her, and say Bully, bully, bully, is the great Metropolis of the Pacific, and she will break her neck trying to accomplish that good deed. You get Dr. Bellows to glorify her princely liberality in ten telegraphic sentences, at forty cents a word, and down they come with $20,000 for the Sanitary Fund! They always respond when ‘Glory’ calls but they are sometimes slow to respond when they are not going to be applauded.
- quoted in “False to Thee,” San Francisco Daily Dramatic Chronicle, 16 January 1866, p. 2. (”Mark Twain”).
San Francisco liberals often “do it for the glory” of being applauded, but seldom try to help you, or any other human being, otherwise. Indeed, it can be a very cold, unwelcoming city despite all its “liberal” pretenses.
Watch out for the enormous manhole.
Botox Lane
The road is in a park.
No businesses on that road.
fitting.
if Queen Nancy is crossing her street, can we run her over? /s
I drive on that street every day going to and coming back from work. They re-paved it a few months ago. Now I know why. Yuck!
