First of all, not a newb.. just a purge victim from the primaries.

JimRob posted almost a month ago about a so called truce between Romney supporters and the rest of the FReeper community. Since then, it appears the left has little job to do in driving a wedge into the right wing, we are doing it still ourselves.

Were is this truce? How come all I see on here is Alinsky tactics of divide and conquer? Today there was a post about Evil Mittie and him fundraising with morning after pill distributors. And the "true blue conservatives" pounce, little do they know that this pill manufacturer is one of the largest generic pill manufactuyrers in the world.. who produce all kind of medicine, even Augmentin, Azithromycin and Cipro, common anti-biotics..

This so called truce makes me sick. Can't wait to read the next half-baked anti-Romney article and the zealot FReepers who will eat up its every word because it furthers the narrative of Romney that THEY want him to fit into.

I'm not upset that people have beliefs that won't "allow" them to vote for Romney.. but what really irritates me is this active campaigning against people who would support Romney.. what game are you trying to pull? To deliver us into 4 more years of Obama servitude, for what purpose?? It strengthens conservatives? Talk about a phyyric victory. If you don't support Romney fine, but we are all anti-Obama here.. lets stay on focus.

The “truce” was a proposal that we stop scratching each other’s eyes out. It was just a suggestion. I really hate losing long-term FReepers who are otherwise conservative but feel that Obama must be stopped even if they have to hold their nose and vote for the liberal progressive Romney to do it as the lesser of two evils. Can’t do that myself. Never again after McCain. And never for a guy with an abortionist/homosexualist/statist record like Romney’s.

But the truce does not apply to obnoxious retread antifreepers as a few of them have discovered in the last couple of days.

I believe the most important thing is to get rid of Obama. I don’t think it makes one bit of difference to that primary goal who replaces him. He has proved to be the most dangerous individual to ever hold the office of the president in this country and is by far the greatest threat to everything which made us the greatest, wealthiest and most powerful nation to have ever existed on this planet.

Of all those who ran in the primary Romney was not even a consideration of mine and someone I could and would not support actively. That said I believe that now it appears he will be our candidate we must back him if not with active support at least by pulling the lever by his name even if it means holding our nose.

I truly believe Obama is so dangerous that as I said earlier, anyone would be a vast improvement.

Many brave Americans, such as yourself, gave so selflessly and SO many gave ALL...for us and our freedom...and as President Reagan sagely knew and warned, we are the world's LAST hope for free peoples. Free as the good Lord intended. Free to worship and without fear of enslavement or death.

The perils we face moving forward--the perils that loom large and are closing quickly--are of the kind that will be irreversible and devastating with a continued, completely unleased Obama CIC.

We won't stand a chance. Obama is not an AMERICAN. He seeked out high office *solely* to DESTROY us. It's just that simple. As he and Michelle love to say, they have "so much work still to do."

And I wish people would remember at least this:

But McCain was a bridge to far for me so I skipped the last presidential election. I don't see Romney being as bad as McCain. In fact I remember lots of folks rooting for Romney hoping he would stop McCain. I was one of them, so I might vote Romney or if a real 3rd Party gets going might go that route. I really want Obama out of the White House, but I want the GOPe out of power almost as much as I want Obama out.

Yep. As far as I know, everyone who goes on SS cancels their health insurance the same day or very shortly after.

Are you living in a dream world. Damn you need to wake up and face reality. There those who have worked hard all of the lives and saved for retirement. They have paid into SS and then drew back on it what they paid in when they retired. I know NO ONE who willingly dropped there health insurance.
