This would be my guess. Liberals already try to portray children as just “little adults” ignoring the fact that their limited life experience and still developing brains means they assess situations far differently than actual adults.
Another factor at play here, and studiously ignored by liberals, is the fact that homosexuals are several hundred times more likely to molest children (I’d call them pedophiles but liberals maintain you can molest children and not be a pedophile) than heterosexuals. Lowering the age of consent to 10 or so would be very beneficial to pedophiles in general and homosexuals in particular with their much higher rate of pedophilia.
The article correctly identifies age of consent laws as the next front in the culture war. After that, who knows? The Left rejects all limitations on behavior and expression, save only those that empower the individual at the expense of the State (hence the Leftist love of taxation and gun control).

That means the “normalization” of polygamy, pedophelia and even more homosexualism.
After all - they are part of muslim heritage and culture so how can they be denied?

Courses about how normal and wonderful all these “lifestyles” are will be required in the public schools so that people engaged in them will not feel bad or be subject to bullying. (And if you object then you are guilty of spreading “hate.”)
All to take parental authority away from parents so they can further mislead the young and form them to their liking. They're already indoctrinating them Thur the education system.....so the "kids" will no doubt support any moves to make them "legal" at any young age.
Movies and TV are already showing kids in adult situations....so the "beast" isn't going to stop at all, rather expect it to move along at a rapid pace.
Our country is a moral disaster...it's that simple.
My bets are:
Consanguinity, plural marriage, and the lowering of the age of consent.
Pedophile “rights” will start to become codified in laws of states such as MA and VT.
Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together....mass hysteria!
