Conservative commentator and website editor Andrew Breitbart died of heart failure and had up to a 60 percent narrowing of a major artery, a Los Angeles County coroners office report released Wednesday said.
The office ruled that the cause of Breitbarts death was heart failure and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with focal coronary atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries.
Coroners officials deemed the death "natural."
Breitbart collapsed near his Westwood home on the west side of Los Angeles March 1. He was 43. Paramedics found Breitbart unable to breath and shocked him with a defibrillator four times. He was in full arrest and paramedics were administering CPR when he arrived in the emergency room at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The report noted that despite heroic efforts, Breitbart was declared dead at 12:19 a.m. In the report, authorities said that a year before, he had a congestive heart failure and began a course of diet and exercise. The report notes that Breitbart had flu two weeks before and "has been under a lot of stress."

Today Sinclair News received the full and final Autopsy Report on Andrew Breitbart from the Los Angeles County Coroners office per our earlier request. We were sent the report at the same time as NBC News, NY Times, Fox News, and others who had submitted requests for the final report. The Report is provided in PDF form HERE
I want to see the version that the murderered coroner saw.
Aaahummmm.. Bulls***....
No such version since he was a photographer.
You might end up with a similar case of Obamacide...
Did the report note that at least Breitbart ate quite well in the weeks leading up to his death? Its great to know that he didn't suffer without eating some good fixins from well-known gourmet master chefs.
60% of one of the arteries?
Right.
“He was in full arrest and paramedics were administering CPR when he arrived in the emergency room at”
I thought he just dropped dead at the scene.
Autopsy: Breitbart died of heart failure, had enlarged heart
http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/16/politics/breitbart-autopsy/index.html
Breitbart, 43, died on March 1 after collapsing on a sidewalk in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood. He was transported to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and pronounced dead about 40 minutes later when emergency physicians were unable to revive him.
According to the autopsy report, Breitbart had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2011 after being rushed by ambulance to the same hospital because he had shortness of breath.
He was released from the hospital after a few days in 2011, and he began exercising and dieting, the report said.
The 6-foot-3, 251-pound Breitbart was considered “a light drinker,” and he had 0.04 gram percent of alcohol in his blood and heart at the time of his death, the autopsy report said.
If you haven’t been dead long, they give you CPR. A couple weeks ago a Premier League soccer player was “dead” on the field. They gave him CPR and eventually defib. He came back to life after 6 minutes of death.
Wonder if Bill and Bernadine gave Andrew a doggie bag.
What about the man who was at the scene who said Breitbart’s face was red as a beet?
people are walking around with 90+% occlusions - 60% - geez, I am probably in trouble...
This is what I don't get. If his condition was that serious, why wasn't he on any kind of medication? There were no prescription meds found in his system.
You can’t tell for sure in the small jpg I posted, but in larger versions, the Ayer’s Doggy Bag Special seems be be in Jamie Weinstein’s hand. But, the only thing the doggy bag signifies, of course, is a sustained enjoyment of that fine fare, over the course of the next few days.
Nor has anyone found a report of his heart disease dating BEFORE is death. Every report I’ve ever seen or heard of is dated after his death.
It’s not the 60% lesion. Its the hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. That is the one that kills pro athletes. If you have it and you go down you are basically DRT (dead right there). It’s very difficult even for an experienced team that knows what they are dealing with to resuscitate that one.
