SANFORD, Fla. —
WFTV has learned charges against George Zimmerman could be getting more serious.
State prosecutors said Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman, profiled and stalked 17-year-old Trayvon Martin before killing him, so the FBI is now looking into charging him with a hate crime.
Zimmerman admitted to killing Martin in February during a confrontation. However, he claims the shooting was in self-defense. He's facing a second-degree murder charge, which carries a maximum possible sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
In the meantime, FBI investigators are actively questioning witnesses in the retreat at the Twin Lakes neighborhood, seeking evidence for a possible federal hate crime charge.
Martin was unarmed when he was shot to death, police said, and some accuse Zimmerman of targeting the teenager solely because of the color of his skin.
WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said federal prosecutors would have to prove the hate crime to charge Zimmerman, though.

The argument I always make about the concept of a hate crime is that very few people murder others out of an excess of love.
I think the entire “hate crime” concept is BS. Charge the elements of the crime.

I cannot name one but actually FBI crime statistics reports reflect that blacks have the highest incidents per capita of hate crimes charged under hate crime laws. I believe the number was approximately 20-22% of all hate crimes are committed by blacks altho they are only 12$ of the population. Keep in mind that most states have hate crime laws on their books as well as the Fed.And it is the states that charge most of the hate crimes. But I do think you are correct that Obama’s Justice department has charged very few instances of black on white hate crimes as their philosophy is that the law is intended to protect the very minorities who ironically commit most of the hate crimes on a per capita basis.

The regime is gearing up for a mau mau campaign for the Nov. election and they need Whitey to be properly intimidated and to think twice before defending life and limb.

This is a dishonest headline and a dishonest story. The Obama Administration, not the FBI, targeted George Zimmerman. While all the facts are not known, it appears Zimmerman only defended himself against an assault by a vicious, young thug. This incident has been reported dishonestly by the media and the Obama Administration has used it to promote racial violence and racial animosity.
And Eric Holder worked for the Butcher of Waco. He replaced Jamie Gorelick is from that same ilk.
Don’t know but I have this cold, empty feeling. Obama is doing some screwy things to stir up the radicals.

The impetus had to have come from the White House. There’s no way Holder would have done this on his own. Obama is trying to send a message.
