During the speech, Obama ripped into the presumptive GOP nominee and discussed nation building at home, but the most newsworthy item of the day was not the talking points Obama delivered: it was the crowd... or lack thereof. According to ABC News, the Obama campaign had expected an "overflow" of people. Instead, the arena looked half-empty. The Columbus Dispatch reports that Obama organizers even had people move from the seats to the floor of the gym in order to project a larger crowd on television.

I agree...I currently serve our county on the Travel Board. We, 1 Repub. and 1 Demo. take ballots to registered voters in nursing homes, state hospital, or shut ins at home. In a large number of cases (I am the Republican) the people who request Democrat ballots will vote for their candidates for state and local offices, but will refuse to vote for Obama. I really was amazed, but one old lady...in a nursing home...stated that she wouldn’tvotefor that SOB because she couldn’t stand him...I O.K.’d her vote!
Reminds me of Mussolini.
I am old, too.
And, I have lost all “hope”, for I know nothing will “change” in D.C. We have gone way too far down the road, and we can’t even explain it to our sons and daughters.
They are so busy trying to run faster and faster that they don’t have the time to figure out that they are in a big pot of water that is ever so slowly getting warmer and warmer.
Maybe AlGore is right, and the socialist global warming fraud is frying the brains of our children and grandchildren, who will be “french-fried” before they even figure out that the upscale stores at the mall aren’t selling anything they really need for survival.
I’m 82. This is the worst I have ever seen it. I fear for my children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
I saw a statistic today which is very favorable for Obama. It is being reported that during his 40 months in office five million Americans have been placed on permanent disability with the Social Security Administration. Guess where those votes are going.
There will be fraud and Soros will see to it if nothing touches him (Soros) beforehand.
But don’t just sit and whine. Save every “Postage Paid” return envelope you ever get in the mail. WRITE something on the outside of it about Bath-House Barry’s crimes and mail the damned thing. IT’S FREE! You may just get the attention of a few in the Post Office or people at the envelope’s destination, but, it’s better than doing nothing.
And, why not print out info from your own computers stating that Bath-House Barry plans to ruin Medicare, he’s importing the enemy and any number of other anti-American things-—send them to nursing homes and retirement facilities or take them there yourself. I did during the health-”care” debacle. Leave them at doctors’ offices and brake service/oil change businesses; anyplace people have to wait for some kind of service.
It seems like a small thing, but you never know the exponential affect it could have.
Kudos to you, terycarl; I didn’t mean to address my rant to you!
It was widely reported as we were losing jobs that workplace discrimination and wrongful termination lawsuits, as well as disability claims, were rising. While Obama may have gotten 5 million votes from this scheme, it cost him more in terms of the taxpayers being asked to fund it. Appealing to welfare recipients automatically costs many of the voters that feed, clothe, and house such recipients, and this should work in a similar manner.
Nothing against legitimate recipients of this program; it just seems that here in NJ any auto accident results in at least 10 disability claims.
Obama will lose NC.
At most, hell get 4,999,999. Ive become permanently disabled in the past two years, but I would never vote for him.
I’m sorry, but I tried to find sources and most legit seemed DailyPaul, which isn’t.
It is bad indeed. It will get even worse before it gets better. Tough times ahead, but then sunshine days after that. When (God willing) this snake oil charlatan narcissist is FINALLY turned away from office, and the American Mass Media Complex, which rigs up and gins numbers to match their narrative, are beside themselves, circa November 1980.
That’s another reason , added to the list, of why I won’t for either Romney or Obama.
Power is in who ‘counts’ the votes, not in who votes.
I’ve spoken with my children about what I’ve seen just since the 60’s....one of the things I’ve stressed is the speed in which things are happening today because there is little if no restraint anywhere in our country.
Not to mention everyones become a crook one way or another. A store changed it’s return policy where you can now return anything at any time...no restrictions. Well they’re returning years old merchandise...stolen merchandise...and switching labels at record time!
I’m with you...it’s the worst I’ve seen it and I thought the 60’s were bad enough! Of course those are the people running things now.
BTW, I'm way behind the enemy lines in Chicago and feel your pain. Live just a couple of blocks away from Rahmbo. Not too many Obama stickers here, yet.
Oh! What happened in 2010? Massive republican sweep. Ye have no faith.
I f Zer0 was powerful it was 2 yrs back not now. Nothing has improved.
You have bought into the MSM propaganda machine. He can’t fill an arena
in a liberal college town. How many free tickets were given away?
The only way the GOP could lose this time around is by picking Romney for their candidate.
So of course, that’s exactly what they did.
The frauds, maybe. The real disabled, not so much. There is a difference you know.
My son has an “Impeach Obama” bumper sticker on his car. He gets nothing but favorable comments on it.
(We’re in the Texas panhandle though where Obama lost every county in 08)
The Democrats should declare the guy ineligible and overturn everything he did to save their party.
May it be true is our prayer!
