Meet the First Obama Girlfriend

It only took nearly six years for the media to begin vetting President Obama’s past.

Today, Vanity Fair released an excerpt from a new biography of Barack Obama by David Maraniss. The excerpt discusses Barack Obama's first love affair, with a white Australian woman named Genevieve Cook. It's a telling examination of who Obama was as a young man -- and it shows a self-absorbed "internationalist" with delusions of grandeur.

The book itself sounds like an ode to Obama. Maraniss writes, “At age 20, Obama was a man of the world … He could not be of one place, rooted and provincial.” No, says Maraniss, this was a broadminded young man who “knew the ways of different cultures better than he knew himself.”

When he first moved to New York, he was in the midst of an affair with Alexandra McNear, a girl from Occidental. They exchanged a series of purple letters with one another – turgid missives from overfevered young minds. Here, for example, is tendentious Obama explaining poetry to his young girlfriend:

But I will hazard these statements—Eliot contains the same ecstatic vision which runs from Münzer to Yeats. However, he retains a grounding in the social reality/order of his time. As a recent college graduate holding down his first job in the 1980s, Barack Obama did not make much of an impression on someone who knew the ways of the world: His girlfriend’s landlord.

I'm not going to say whether the photo of Obama is real or not, but it is a leather jacket. They last a long time if they're taken care of properly.

I have a black leather motorcycle jacket I received as a gift in 1989. I have a brown leather dress jacket received as a gift in 2004. It wouldn't surprise me if someone has photos of me riding my motorcycle in 1989 with that jacket that would look virtually identical to photos taken today of me in that jacket. Same for the brown dress jacket. Both jackets have aged better than me over the last 23 years and would look almost the same in a 1989, 2004, or 2012 photo.

Not sure I agree on signs of wear which would be obvious in a photo.

As potlatch said, leather jackets can last a long time.

I own two quality leather jackets; one is a motorcycle jacket and the other is a dress jacket. Both were worn regularly for many years, the first beginning sometime between 1988 and 1989 (I was wrong in my last post; I think I got the motorcycle jacket in 1988 rather than early 1989) and the second beginning in 2004. I still have both jackets and both are in good condition, though living in the South I don't have reason to wear them as much as I did when I was in the North and needed heavy jackets with warm linings during winter months.

Close inspection would show signs of wear between 1989 and 2012, but I don't think a photo of me taken in 1989, 2004, and 2012 would show much difference unless it was a close-up photo.

However, it's not just leather jackets.

Leather is designed to last much better than most clothing. Granted, I do take care of my personal property better than a lot of people, but one of my suits was purchased more than two decades ago and it's one I still wear from time to time for formal occasions. It's been repaired several times in places — the suit coat lining, some reweaving of the fabric in the pants — but those are not places that would normally be seen in photographs unless I had the suit coat off and was carrying it in a way that exposed the lining, or somebody was shooting from a really strange camera angle at the pants. Because I take care of my clothes, there would be no way to notice most wear-and-tear on the suit even though it is now more than two decades old.

Photos of me appeared in a news magazine in the early 1990s wearing the same black suit that I wore at my wedding reception in the late 1990s and also wore to church a few weeks ago. I'd hate to have someone try to argue that the photos from the early 1990s were photoshopped when I know for a fact that the magazine and wedding photographer were still using film cameras, not digital, when the photos were taken. However, the original film probably no longer exists in either case.

Again, I'm not trying to defend Obama here, just saying we need better evidence to prove photoshopping. At most, this is an indicator of a need to look more closely for other problems.

And we are shocked, shocked that Hussein dances with seven veils on socio-sexual norms.

He has to be photoshopped into heterosexuality.

He was given a Hillary-Bill arrangement by Dohrn.

He was a twenty-year member of Wright's Down-Low Lounge.

With dire consequences for Young, Bland and Spenser.

I cannot, for the very life of me, understand why the lenghthy discussion of the merits of a leather jacket, when the question really is, WHO WAS WEARING IT.
The same jacket appears on the couch with Siddiqi, it’s there between the Dunhams in Central Park, and in the street in Nairobi. Then we see it again with Genevieve.
If it wasn’t his head in the original image with Genevieve, how can anyone be certain it was HIS head in any of the others?
All we know is that it looks like the same jacket.

Barack Obama visited the house of Tom and Mary Ayers, parents of former Weather Underground activist turned education professor Bill Ayers, in the mid-1980s to thank the Ayers’ for their support of his education, according to Allen Hulton, the letter carrier who delivered mail to the Ayers’ Glen Ellyn home at that time. Glen Ellyn is a suburb of Chicago, southwest of the city.

Hulton spoke to King Harvest at length about his experience. The statement by Hulton is the first eyewitness account of a possible relationship between Obama and Tom Ayers and the first that dates his relationship with the Ayers family to the mid-1980s...

...He confirmed that he still has not been approached by any of the “big boys” – the networks or major talk radio interests, about his remembrance that Mary Ayers told him of helping with “foreign” student and then Obama’s statement, in a matter-of-fact way as if the issue already was decided, that he would be president.

It was Mary Ayers’ enthusiasm over the “foreign” student that impressed the incident on Hulton’s memory.

“She was kind of excited about and very enthusiastic about this man,” he told Gillars.

The second scenario that left him more or less speechless was Obama’s statement that he was going to be president.

It was Obama, Hulton recalled, who approached him and struck up a conversation on the sidewalk outside of the Ayers’ home.

“Barack Obama said he had been helped financially at school,” he said. Then, near the end of the conversation, Obama stated he was going to be president.

Obama’s head does look large in the photo with the girl.

Not only that, the position of his chin relative to his shoulders similarly proves the photo is a fake. There is no way that someone's chin can be that low relative to their shoulders, unless they're really sticking out their neck. But then the angle of the head would have to be different than in this pic. It looks like he doesn't even have a chin. When and where did this pic first turn up?

Below: I assume the circles are there only to show how disproportionally large his head is in the "girlfriend" pic? But you can also see the position of the chin just isn't right (in the 'girlfriend' pic). Obvious fake.

I'm thinking if...zero's head was photo-shopped onto the body of Reid for example, who appears to have a long and powerful neck, then zero's head would need to be somewhat larger than real life to fill the space that remained after Reid was decapitated...JUST A THOUGHT

On May 2, Vanity Fair published a lengthy excerpt of David Maraniss’ forthcoming biography Barack Obama: The Story, in which details of Obama’s mysterious New York years were revealed, including places Obama lived and actual addresses, as well as some dates. It was also revealed that Obama’s squeeze at the time, Genevieve Cook, was attending a small college in 1984, Bank Street College of Education, specializing in producing teachers concerned with ‘social justice.’

The following day, The Ulsterman Report discovered that Bill Ayers had attended the same college around this same period, wondering if there was an Obama-Ayers connection that far back.

Obama Files, reading the Maraniss Vanity Fair excerpt carefully, discovered that not only did Bill Ayers attend college around the same period, but attended the college the exact same year, 1984.

But it doesn’t end there.

Maraniss reveals that Obama was living at this exact period of time at 622 West 114th Street, in New York, which is one-half mile from the college!

Maraniss states that Obama was living there as a border, but offers no details who he was living with. Could it have been Bill Ayers? Is this why Obama had such an extensive relationship with Ayers in Chicago later, serving on boards and foundations, funneling millions of dollars to radical groups?

Is this the real scandal of Obama’s Administration? Not that his administration is filled to the gills with radicals, but that he sought out and spent time with none other than domestic terrorist Bill Ayers in the early 1980s?

Will this be the scandal that will finally bring down the house of cards known as the ObamaNation? We shall have to wait and see.

I've been posting for 3 or 4 years now that Ayers and Obama went to college within blocks of each other during the same time period (Ayers at Bank Street College, Obama at Columbia College, a Grad school within Columbia University). It's been on my FReeper Home page for nearly as long. Interesting, though, that this supposed 'girlfriend' of Obama also went to Bank Street, and at the same time Ayers did. It would nice to put her on truth serum.

I'm in total awe of the depth of your research and the content of your home page, it shouldn't be just sitting there, it should all be on the front pages of your 'newspapers' - but getting information out to the public is akin to the labour of Sysiphus:

This combination of revealed facts however, is a neat, incriminating bundle...

1. Thomas Ayers on the Board of the Banks Street school.

2. William Ayers attends Banks Street shortly after coming out of hiding.

3. Genevieve Cook, we are asked to believe, had a relationship with zero while she was attending Banks Street at the same time as William Ayers.

4. Hulton, the postman, identified zero as the visitor to the Ayres home in the early 80's, where zero told Hulton he had gone, to thank Mr & Mrs Thomas Ayers for their help with his education.

I left out Mrs Ayers gushing to Mr Hulton how she and Tom were delighted with the foreign student they were sponsoring...but as a member of the Board, isn't it possible that Tom Ayers would also arrange for zero to attended Bank Street? And isn't that the VERY LAST thing they would want known?

I went to school with William Ayers wouldn't look so good...

So you're suggesting perhaps Obama went to Bank Street, not Occidental, due to the Ayers' connections, and for just that reason it must not be known.

Just as Malcolm Little aka Malcolm X being his father must not be known.

And as he's not heterosexual, a girlfriend must be written in by Bill Ayers, and photoshopped into the photographic record.
