Sorry I missed the joke. Who is this frenchie? I did not know specifically; HOWEVER, it reminded me of Romney e.g. the 'nuanced' politician that vacations in France and speaks French...

They back off for now, but t come back at a different approach, later, like they always do. We have beat them back on the 2nd Amendment. It's taken half of my adult life, and we're still not back to pre-GCA laws, but we're headed that way.
Take heart, remain conservative, and move ever forward.

The Amish would have been hit hard by this ruling.

Obama will have “more flexibility” to ram this down our throats after the election. Tyranny unleashed.

I have had a long running gritch about my ancient liberal neighbor, who happens to be an American citizen born in France. I had vented about him for years on the ATRW thread.
Since the first 2 posters were veteran ATRW folks, I mentioned it because it speaks volumes about government over-reach if that old barstid made a phone call. After looking at all sides and hemming and hawing and being 'nuanced'.

Meanwhile, the drumbeat of Dictator Obama grows louder:

Was this a “human rights” initiative or a “safety” initiative? I want every one involved in making this decision extracted by the scruff of their necks and kicked to the curb. My God how did we ever get here and when will we reach the breaking point?

My neighborhood is so geriatric that I have to print out an article in a large font and hand carry it around the neighborhood. I wish I could just email them.

Actually, I suspected it was a Farm Workers Union initiative.

Just for now. Just like the last time they “backed” off. Then they tried it again “toned down” somehow.
They are relentless and won’t ever stop.
In wars with the afghanis the brits found they had to wipe them out to stop them. It is that way with fanatics.

How many mandates like this do we not know about? Scary.

Yes, ultimately, they want to take over the farms.

Hit hard? It would have completely destroyed them.
