(MOBILE, Ala.) - It started with a game of basketball. Kids in the Delmar Drive neighborhood play almost every night, and Saturday their ball found its way into a yard down the street where Matthew Owens was staying.
Neighbors say Owens confronted the kids as they chased their ball.
"We said we're sorry," says David Dinkins, one of the kids playing. "He said 'get the F out of the yard!'"
Dinkins says that's when Owens started spewing racial slurs and pulled out two knives.
"It was like kitchen knives," Dinkins says. "They were long."

They must have a special flow chart like the “Not My Problem” one to help them deal with this, without specifically saying “Thou Shalt Not Charge a Black Person With a Race/Hate Crime”.

Black racists know that all they have to say is that whitey said n@@@@r and to police, bad words justify black racist violence. Whitey made the racist mob hate and lynch ‘im.
One thing is certain. Both the press and the government are unreliable when it come to crimes involving race.
The subtext of these stories, which is almost never challenged, is that if someone uses (or is believed to have used) the only truly taboo word in the language, any level of violence against him and those around him is thereby justified.
I wonder when this notion worked its way into the collective mind?
It’s just a word. Why is its use considered worse than violence in response? Why don’t those offended by a word retaliate with words rather than violence?

Frankly,.I think the entire concept.of “hate crime” is bogus, but if you’re gonna have it, this qualifies.
Whites need to start taking a page from the black mans protest book. If they beat one of ours then we gather in mass and start screaming and demanding justice. If they treat us with violence then we fight back with more violence. They are getting away with murder and it’s only going to get worse because nobody, including us, does anything about it or will do anything about it.
They want war it’s time we give them one including their so called leaders. When the war starts it is our duty to fight back and take out the leaders first.

More generally than just that one word,
any sort of “dissing” of a young black man
is justification for at least a beatdown, if not a homicide.
That word is just the pinnacle of “dissing”.

Ok, well, you try to organize a “White people protest” and see how many show up. White people can’t be bothered to stand up for themselves, for fear of being called racist. If you try this, you’ll be socially lynched by the very people you want to help.
Just keep pissin off white people, sooner or later you will drive virtually all of them away while your cities can continue to rot and they will vote against you

Yes.
The REASON for the crime really doesn’t matter except perhaps in establishing motive. However, in and of itself, it definetely should NOT amplify the crime/punishment.
“Hate Crime” is just another form of institutional racism directed against whites.

African-Americans are now a protected species. Much like gray wolves. they can kill and maim each other. They can kill an maim other species, including other protected species. But they cannot be harmed or insulted by a non protected species. For example White folks.
Not till I looked it up. Horrible story, complete with subtext that the killings would have been “sorta” justified if the racism of the victims could be proven.
I am about as anti-racist as it is possible to be. However, racism is not the worst crime in the world. In fact, it isn’t a crime at all. It’s stupid and evil, but the belief system or attitude isn’t criminal.
And there are certainly much worse crimes. Over 100M people were murdered in the last century by people who were, at least in theory, anti-racist, and whose ideology is still respectable in much polite company.
