In the Navy, during dont ask dont tell, it was obvious that there were homosexuals serving. As long as they did their job and did not declare or otherwise advertise their orientation, they usually did their jobs well. I dont see much difference here.

I had little choice in the DADT policy...I did my duty. Shout all you want. You want to know truth, it was worse when we accepted women into the service. At least the homosexuals did not get pregnant mid-deploymemnt leaving the rest to pull their extra duties. Dont know how thats working out now...hopefully better.
