SANFORD, Fla. - George Zimmerman was released around midnight Monday from a county jail on $150,000 bail as he awaits his second-degree murder trial for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin.
The neighborhood watch volunteer was wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans and carrying a paper bag. He met a man in a white vehicle and drove away. His ultimate destination is being kept secret for his safety and it could be outside Florida.
Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester said at a hearing Friday he cannot have any guns and must observe a 7 p.m.-to-6 a.m. curfew. Zimmerman also surrendered his passport....

I’d like to give his Dad and his stepmom/ step dad’s girlfriend (heck what would you call her anyway?) a bloody good punch or 10 myself as incredibly crappy parents.
Sure, a 17 year old is old enough to babysit while you get an evening out, but don’t you actually check their room when you get home, instead of assuming the 17 year old is in bed asleep? Seriously, you don’t spend 3 seconds to crack the door and see he is asleep?
That bit of info rankled me mightily. Parenting fail 101. Been looking hard and not found any reliable information as to when Trayvons father took off from him and his mother.
I’ll lay you a bet though - it was after the picture the MSM keeps jamming down our throats was taken.

I am trying to keep my mind open. Getting harder as more details come out, and, if TM did start the fight that lead to his death I am gonna put the blame exactly where it belongs. On his Mom and Dad.
Heck, we know he had a phone with him - someone starts following him why the heck didn’t TM call 911? You would. I would.
Because to his friends, cops are the enemy and his mother was just his mother. Not his father. You note that when he got suspended she sent him up to his dad?

There's an old scar or something below his right eye, which is useful for sorting the fakes from the real.
His online presence is of somebody spoiling for a confrontation. His anger at being profiled by Zimmerman is fully justified. However, his assault on Zimmerman was a crime, and Zimmerman's response thereto was justifiable homicide. It's very unfortunate. If it hadn't happened, maybe he'd have become a great airplane mechanic. Or maybe not.
The opinion of the People of Florida does not matter and is worthy only of contempt. The white Corey is even uglier than the black one, BTW.
I don’t think the truth lies in demonizing Trayvon because he is like a lot of kids - good and bad.
However, I do think Trayvon might have been busting bad on “whitey’ Zimmerman because he was being watched (what you lookin’ at?) and I think he had been in trouble involving robbery and assault on a bus driver in the period leading to his death. Maybe he got into drugs and/or the wrong crowd. It’s very sad for his mom. I hope he was close to Jesus and is with God in heaven.
And Zimmerman did not deserve to be killed by an angry BIG young man if what Zimmerman says is true. He’s allowed to watch for criminals like everyone else. Terrible situation that would haunt anyone put into it.
I expect to hear something today.

Come to think it, Zimmerman is a leftist radical magnet. Maybe they will stake him out like a sacrificial lamb and bait the ba$tards, and off the lot of them, doing the nation a great service.

I am surprised that defence counsel is not moving on the constitutional issue of due process, requesting a gag order against POSOTUS, and moving the indictment be struck.
He should've been released several days ago.

All I can say is, get the hell out of Dodge.
I wouldn’t give a tinker’s damn if Martin was on the honor roll and was building airplanes so he could donate the proceeds to charity.
If, as Zimmerman claims, he decided to put an ass whuppin’ on the guy who dissed him by following him and asking an unreasonable question like “what are you doing here?” and continued to administer it by slamming his head in the sidewalk after he broke his nose, then he deserved to get shot.
If Zimmerman attacked Martin and Martin was merely getting the upper hand in the fight when Zimmerman decided to shoot, then he didn’t deserve it.
So far, the physical evidence points to the former, while the witness testimony is predictably split, but tends to favor Zimmerman.
Unless the prosecutor has something major up their sleeve, then it looks like Zimmerman had the book thrown at him for political reasons.
The jail government workers just care about billing the county for another full day while doing no actual work, hence releases always begin at 12:01 am, never before.
Getting out on bail is not supposed to be probation. I can see reasonable restrictions to insure the accused show up on their court date, but curfews and bans on alcohol and firearms are punishments that have nothing to do with that. How is that even constitutional?
Loosen the foil hat. You're making a fool of yourself.
