ALMOST half of all Britons are seriously considering moving overseas, an exclusive survey for The Sun has found.
Australia is top of the relocation wish list followed by the US, Canada and New Zealand.
The cost of living, weather, unemployment and crime are the most common reasons for wanting to quit Britain.
Pollsters YouGov quizzed 1,650 adults after The Sun told last week about Dave and Jackie Jones who emigrated to Australia with their 12 kids.
The family from Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria who have never claimed benefits quit in despair at what they see as soft-touch Britains emphasis on state handouts instead of opportunities.
Dave, 42, said: I have to do the best for my kids and I feel the opportunities I want for them will not be in the UK.

So is the soccer team.
FWIW, I had a Brit coworker in Japan who got out for exactly that reason. He was no racist. His wife was a beautiful Filipino. Cute kids. But he saw Asia as the place to make a fresh start.
Naw,Obamacanstay inthe USA.There’s a very secure facility in Levenworth Kansas that would be perfect for him.
I have close relatives in England. One cousin has moved to Spain. Another cousin would love to leave. Last I heard he wanted to come to the U.S. On a related note, I wish I could leave this neighborhood that I live in. A couple of doors down we had a very nice North African probably from Eritrea just move out. He must have been renting because the house didn’t go up for sale. Just saw the new neighbors pull up behind me about 30 minutes ago. They appear and sound to be of the South of the border variety. Before pulling into their garage, they stopped and picked up a Toy Story Woody doll that my other neighbor’s little boy had left out. We told her and she had to go ask them for it back. You know damn well that if they would steal a worthless kids’ doll, they are going to be looking for bigger game.
The sun has set on the empire.
At least we should get some good soccer players out of the deal.
Which means 10% at most are seriously considering it and many others are fantasizing about it. Which is bad enough.
What do you mean "will be"?
I have been looking to get out of here for more than a decade.
The only real obstacle is the IRS.
You would not believe what happens to you from that bunch if you expatriate.
Actually, it isn't all that bad, unless you want to come back or pass through.
It would kind of be like your flight got diverted to NY and you had a handgun in your luggage, only worse. So, wherever you go, you have to stay there and never get into the U.S. again; intentionally or unintentionally.
Your co-worker was right . BTW - I’m in Japan .

Huh ? I’ve been in Japan for 26 years and have a permanent visa to stay . I’ve been back many times over the years , as recently as 2 weeks ago , never had a problem . The IRS has never bothered me at all .
Can you blame them?
They let in too many Yobs.
Just don’t come here if you are going to help eff up our country as you did to yours.
If they want to come to the US, I hope that they go to NY, Mass, Californicate, or one of the more progressive states where they would feel at home, very welcome and would easily adapt to their customary socialist ways.
How many new folks can Australia and New Zealand accommodate? How many will they be willing to allow to emigrate from various countries? Which countries? Which cultures?
You are dsylexic. It really is “84%” want Obama to get out of the US but many are afraid for their lives if they speak the truth.
Thereby turning the once “Great Britain” over to the Muzzies.
London calling!
They’re about 200 years late to the party.
