In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

Sure we can bend over and vote AGAINST Obama and put a liberal republican in office AGAIN and deal with their disastrous policies AGAIN and deal with the ensuing Democrat victory the following term AGAIN.
Or we can make a statement. I don’t think either choice (voting or not) is wrong. It’s your vote after all!

See, that really isn't the long term goal. The long term goal is to advance conservatism. The people that say they won't vote for Willard view casting a ballot for him as a net negative to the conservative cause.
I disagree with that point of view and will absolutely vote for, as Mark Levin says, an orange juice can over Obama. However, the calculation many are making is that having a RINO in office (assuming he can even win) for some short term gain actually makes achieving real conservative change even more difficult because the conservative movement gets tied to a mushy moderate. Think how splintered the right was when Bush was busy pushing a new entitlement program, NCLB, amnesty, etc. It isn't a good situation and it stagnates the movement. Still, I think political pragmatism is very often necessary and the known consequences of 4 more years of Hussein are simply too terrible to not do everything in my power to get his carcass out of the White House - and that includes voting for said orange juice can if it's the only thing that even MIGHT have a chance to defeat Obama.
The Carter years were peanuts (pun intended)compared to the sorry state of our union and our freedoms today.
I worked on the Reagan campaign, am volunteering still for Newt. Held my nose and voted for McCain. I literally retch at the thought of having to vote for Romney and will work my heart out until the last possible moment to see that Romney is not the nominee. But should all else fail and it’s Mitt vs. Mr. Flexibility - I’ll vote for Mitt - for my children and grandchildren.

Show me where Romney said I changed my position on life issues because......
Reagan did that, Bush did that, Clinton did that, Gore did that - they changed and could stay why.

Obviously something outside the (traditional)political realm...as true conservatives seem to have little(or spineless)representation there.
One could surmise money never plays a factor in any decision made by any politician. Snow White does not exist, one should also surmise.

Well maybe. Was thinking would have a mix of pulp and non-pulp in the can elected. Think of all the money we (the people) would save. Might even save the Republic and the Constitution in the bargain.

To each their own. You know what your voting for and you don’t have to explain it to me. Many do NOT know what they are voting for but I suspect Obama and the MSM (but I repeat my self) will do their best to let them know.

I highly doubt he is going to care that Mitt was the lesser of two evils.
