Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.
In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

Check my posting history... I've spent a fair amount of time since Santorum’s withdrawal by writing on Christian principles in voting, and a key issue for me is that I believe it's important to cite chapter-and-verse why an evangelical can vote for Newt Gingrich in good conscience.

This is a serious issue and Gingrich is going to lose votes that should be his due to the National Right to Life endorsement for Romney.
Gingrich may not be the best candidate (I was a Santorum supporter) but we've got to make clear to evangelicals what the Bible says on this issue. Feel free to copy and paste to other places if you think it would be helpful. I'm not very happy about backing a person with Gingrich's background, but I will vote for a repentant adulterer before I'll vote for a baby-killer who doesn't appear to have seriously repented of his wickedness.
It really is that simple.
I was explaining to my niece today that in America, we've killed a number of babies equivalent to half the population of South Korea. I said to her that if a Communist army came into South Korea and killed half of all people in the country for no reason other than personal convenience, God would hold that army accountable for its wickedness, and God will hold America accountable for our wickedness.
If we select Mitt Romney as the Republican nominee, it's our fault and God will hold us accountable, either here or hereafter.
