There is no evidence of that. There are many GOP Senators who will vote to confirm anyone that is sent up.
If Romney is the sitting president, what chance do we have of covincing the GOP that they need to nominate conservatives?

You cant possibly believe any of the conservative SC justices will step down if Obama is reelected.
But if Romney is elected then the Supreme Court will get tipped badly when two conservative Justices retire in the next 4 years and are replaced by liberal Romney appointees tipping the balance to the liberals for generations

Yes, I agree. We have a huge fight ahead to get a conservative party and let the GOP fund their own Chapstick pool to keep kissing democrat butt.

Romney will overturn Obamacare. Obama won’t.
Romney will not take away your guns or facilitate the U.N. or anybody else in doing so.
Romney will do nothing to increase the number of abortions in America.
Obama will do by fiat, Executive Order, Czar Regulation, and any other means possible to end run the Constitution.
Those are not concerns regarding a Romney Presidency!

Grassroots activism at the House and Senate level. For these races politics is still local.
And a conservative Congress will help "guide" Romney should he win the nomination and the election.
We did it in 2010 and we can do again in 2012 and 2014 and beyond.

Amen to that; consider me a rebel! I absolutely will not ever vote for Romney. He's about three bridges too far on the “better of two evils” argument. The GOP establishment wants him, well they can vote for him without me and my stupid, backwards, embarrassing ideals. If they somehow ran Hillary, I wouldn't vote for her either, though I concede she is probably slightly to the right of Obama. I'll be writing in a conservative.
Wish we had a FR primary to determine who to write in (hint, hint). I'd like those of us doing that to actually be noticed, and the best way is to write in the same, very conservative person who wouldn't likely be written in otherwise. Any ideas?
