Roll this around your tongue and see how it tastes...

“People like the founding fathers who stuck to their principles were damaging to America as Liberals.”

Well, I’m a hell of a lot ‘more like’ them than someone abandoning their principles like Benedict Arnold aren’t I?

Please, answer that one honestly.

I’ve never asked that question, since I am aware that there will never be ‘peace’ between the servants of demonic lies aand the Truth, for He is not going to bend to evil. I do however find it counterproductive to assault the character of run of the mill individual Mormons as a means to ‘oppose MormonISM’. Of course, Milt is not the run of the mill Mormon, just ask him.

“He is not going to bend to evil.”

So should we then? No we should not.

Please, answer that one honestly.

I always answer honestly. So here's my honest answer: No, you're not more like them. You're foolish and self-interested. As this country was being founded, job one was throwing off the shackles of the king, not electing someone that made George and John feel good about themselves. You're confusing principles with self-absorbed, self-focused arrogance.

Great!

Then you can honestly tell me how a conservative can vote for a liberal without abandoning his conservative beliefs! You will hold the distinction as the first ABOer to do so since you always answer honestly.

I am GREATLY looking forward to your reply.

PS, JOB 1 for the FF did not include adopting the very things they sought to rid themselves of as their vehicle of salvation...look it up.

An interesting use of what I posted. Let me pass this by you. After Roe v Wade was law, a ban on partial birth abortions was being written. One of our notorious freepers who is now running for President was against that law because it did not ban all abortions. Was it evil to not save those who could be saved with the new ban? To pass the ban was in his eyes a compromise with evil. Perhaps he's right, but I'm thankful the 20,000 per year reported partial birth abortions are not now being done. As a matter of perspective, I did not see supporting the partial birth abortion ban as supporting evil. We can both speculate on how Jesus would deal with that enigmatic situation, but in the end we would probably agree that he would allow the fiery sword to go forth and strike ALL the evil, we just didn't have that alternate choice we could make, so we worked to save those we could until the evil of that law (Roe v Wade) can be overturned.

Mitt Romney gave $20,000 of his own money to support abortion. Mitt Romney has signed legislation to keep abortions flowing.

Now. With a straight face, Are you willing to stand here and say that supporting this man and thus empowering him to continue his abortion supporting policies on a national scale is not supporting evil?

From a Christian standpoint, are you willing to say with a straight face that you believe it is a Christian thing to do to provide support to the abortion industry? Do you believe a Christian can stand with a clean conscience before God and say that supporting a man who monitarily and legislatively supports abortion and homosexuals is what God approves of?

Yes or no. It either is or it is not. Which do you choose?

Stop stamping your foot as if you think you can demand I follow your specious either or dialectic. Did you vote for Geroge W. Bush or GHW Bush? Look up the Bush family record on abortion issues.

Why won’t you answer such a simple question? Ti does not take much to simply state your belief. Any Christian I know would answer that question in a heartbeat and be proud to stand up for his faith.

Unless you don’t like what your honest answer would lead to. Publicly or for your soul.

Pick a path and follow it.

MR will win (God help us) and every time he goes full Lib, which is a forgone conclusion, the ABO crowd will dance to the tune of “Well you shouldda voted for Obama then” and other crap.

I just wonder how many Romney supporters are going to be honest in years to come, and admit that they were wrong to elect him out of fear of Obama?

Will they then finally understand that it never mattered that he wore an R on his sleeve, and that his future behavior in office was entirely predicted by his liberal record in Massachusetts?

Do you think it just might occur to them then, that the right has become inextricably bound to the agenda of the left because they chose to put a 'Republican' left-liberal in office?

Perhaps when they've lost nearly everything near and dear to them, it will at last be clear to them that they should have stood fast on their conservative principles, and rejected the fear-mongering pied pipers among them.

Chances are, few of them will ever take responsibility for helping the Republicans take the last step to becoming a full-blown left-wing party, and will justify what they've done by telling us, 'well, it would have been worse with Obama.'

Guess what, little man, you’re not privvy to my answer to that question. It is between me and my Lord. Throwing yourself ont he floor and screaming for me to answer your question, as if you deserve or even have a right to an answewr is spectacular, but doesn’t build any creds for you. Perhaps you should now enlist some assiatnats, to accuse me of not even being your kind of Christian for not answering your demands. Run along little man, you will not force me to play in your dialectic cat box.

This could well be my last post as I may be zotted. I hope not, but So be it.

I am tired Windy. This thread this site and this is filled with freaking hypocrites. I don’t blame JR. It’s not his or the mods fault that so many sunny day conservatives, and as I just saw in the posts above, sunny day christians, who threw out everything they believed in to elect a liberal out of fear.

Years of coming here and to other sites spouting holier than though bullshit and “I’m Superconservative MAN! rhetoric. Because that’s all it was to them.

When the chips were/are down, they abandoned their conservatisn, gave their faith a big FU and CAMPAIGNED for a man like Romney.

Well, so be it. They cannot be trusted. They will oneday face their creator and he will ask “Where were you?”

“Well gee God, the alternative was worse” ain’t gonna cut it. They don’t want to face the truth. Let them rot in their cowardice.

Windy, I have never and will never claim to be perfect. But one thing I can say for myself is that I’m NEVER going to deny either my faith or my principles. And I think anyone who does isn’t worth the spit to shine a shoe.

I'm not going to stomp my feet, whine, vote for some third party nitwit, then watch my country be destroyed ...

Then vote for the FIRST party one or the SECOND party one, and get the same result; only over different lengths of time.

We have political problems in this country becaused we have turned away from GOD.

NOTHING good will happen to America until she repents and returns.

(Yes; you may quote me on this.)

You are not the first to call me that ;)

But it’s true. I hate people that wear religion like a pair of socks. I am greatly bigoted towards anyone that says one thing and does another...with PRIDE. And both the christian and conservative communities have been destroyed by them.

Are you claiming that I have 'assault(ed) the character of run of the mill individual Mormons'?

If MORMONism is a HERESY (and it is), and if those who have JOINED TCOJSOLDS are considered to be deceived (and they are) is it 'assaulting their character' to point these facts out?

If you DO consider it to be so; then have you a DIFFERENT way of expressing the TRUTH so I do not run afoul of this faux pas again?
