A Mini-14 is an arsenal? Stupid MSM.

Poor man’s assault rifle my aXX. Cheapest I have seen is $600 all the way up to $1000. Not cheap enough for me.

Where are these Bleeding heart liberals when it comes to prosecuting and incarcerating these criminals?

Sure enough, the .223 is practically a cannon — if you are a prairie dog.
The willful ignorance of the press once again manages to exceed my expectations.

It wasn't Nakwon, mind you. It was his arsenal.

Before the boating accident, I had a Mini-14. If I had sawed off the barrel, would it have turned into an awesome killing machine? Maybe the .223 would have magically turned into an evil 50 cal?
Who knew?

“A firearm this potent should be banned everywhere in the United States.”
More liberal nonsense from the Daily Snooze. Criminals can find similar weapons on the black market.

Cops found in his apartment a sawed-off Ruger Mini-14 military-style semiautomatic rifle.1. If it was 'sawed-off' it would've been wildly inaccurate. If it was shortened on a lathe it would have been a useful tool.
2. The only thing 'military-style' about a Mini-14 is that it chambers a .223/5.56 cartridge. Otherwise it's just a mild-mannered hunting rifle.
It is amusing to read propaganda accounts from the occupied socialist zones. They read like breathless dime store novels. Over the top ridiculous.

The NYPD said the Ruger is so powerful, it could have pierced the ballistics shield carried by the first officer through Foxworths door. A firearm this potent should be banned everywhere in the United States. (speaking to author of piece) BRING IT! You come and ban my firearms yourself, you nancy-pants jour-no-list! If you do, YOU ARE GOING TO DIE before your thugs get me and my gun. And I am going to take a few of them with me.
I am getting so tired of nonsense like this. And the sheeple just lap it up. When does the civil war start again?

So a would-be cop killer can have guns, but law abiding citizens can’t?

A firearm this potent should be banned everywhere in the United States. No exceptions. But the federal assault weapons ban expired in 2004The mini 14 wasn't affected by the assault weapons ban and there were plenty of high capacity mags available, as well.

This Nakwon Foxworth character previously served 10 years in prison for robbery and was released in 2010. He would have only served a year or so for the robbery charge, but he was caught selling drugs in prison to other prisoners and was charged with attacks on other prisoners. He also served two years for attempted murder.
New Englanders look at this story and can't get past the "sawed off gun with a sniper scope firing *heavy* bullets", while Americans in the rest of the country ask what the hell goes on in New York where a career criminal only serves a few months for attempted murder.
