Poor man’s assault rifle my aXX. Cheapest I have seen is $600 all the way up to $1000. Not cheap enough for me.
for 600 bucks you could pick up a brand new sks and deck it out to look like something that would throw the libs into a tizzy....
We’ll stick with our pair of AR-15 rifles when the dogs bark in the night. My other option would be the M1A, but I think it is overkill when your range is under a hundred yards.

I bought my first Mini-14 back in 1976 ($145.00) when they first came on the market. Nice rifle but needed lots of improvements.
Then you could not find one anywhere for several years as they were being bought by the French for their police force.
