Harare - Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, 88, is fighting for his life in a Singapore hospital after handing over power to Defence Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The Australian said Mugabe was undergoing intensive treatment in a hospital in Singapore. Some of his family members joined him Saturday. When Mugabe was admitted to hospital has not been announced.
There has been no official announcement of Mugabe’s illness, but the Zimbabwe Mail, reported his Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU)-Patriotic Front (PF) party is pressing for early elections.
A cabinet meeting set for today has also been postponed, the Mail said.

Mugabe and Chavez on their way to Hell. Life is good.
At this point I believe Mugabee has killed or driven all white farmers out of the once very productive Southern Rhodesia.....So now their agriculture output is pathetic and people were starving a few years ago. Rhodesia has some very fertile land up at 5000 ft elevation which works out great close to the equator and this is what the white farmers exploited. Their tobacco was famous and was a large export

I wonder if Mugabe will suddenly “discover” religion? Nope. Mugabe is a communist and they are atheists. Anyway, it looks like Robert Mugabe will take the dirt nap before Hugo Chavez does. This is a good thing. Now, who’s next in line to succeed him?
Call me spiteful but before I would have been driven off my farm, I would have plowed enough salt into the fields so nothing would grow for 100 years or more. THEN I would have fled the country.

Some very interesting stuff about daily life in Zimbabwe.
Here’s hoping he’s in lots of pain, similar to the pain he put his country thru for the past 35 years. God help those people.
Indeed. He could probably have built a local hospital for his care if he had stolen a bit more from his country. /s

Ooooh so not worth the stress. I made as many anti-Obama postings in 3 days to draw out any FB "friends" who were libs, and once they took the bait I blocked them.
I don't need to hear about how great the "One" is. If I wanted that I would watch CNN, MSNBC, ABC, ect...
So now I can enjoy Facebook talking to friends living across the country and don't have to read liberal screed that makes my skin crawl.
Hopefully Mandela will be joining him soon.
Farmers are probably on ‘the list’ in this country, as well...the white ones; that is.
I have done that to friends but I have to keep my relatives. At least until they REALLY piss me off.
