Call me stupid, too, if in a different way, because seeing Mike’s sonny boy Chris on TV, as infrequently as I turn on the idiot box I would always think at first that I was seeing Saint Mike hisself!
I remember when he had a show that followed Captain Kangaroo!
You have said a lot of nasty things about fellow freepers on this thread, but you have yet to say anything nice about Mike Wallace.
Why don’t you take a moment and say something nice about him? Certainly he had some qualities that you admired. Tell us about them.

I don't think he's resting nor is he in peace at this time. More likely he's knashing his teeth in anguish & pain & torment & complete absolute darkness, for eternity.
I can’t lie about him — he was harmful to everything we believe and everyone we love. We are all better off recognizing this, and being rid of him. There are a lot more where he came from.

“Let death steal over them; let them go down to Sheol alive; for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.”
Of course the Psalmist was talking about his and God’s enemy. I don’t know enough about Wallace to say if he was an enemy of God or not. But, I don’t think he was a friend of America.

The learning curve has been a very gradual slope, since we are trying to overcome 220+ years of judeo-christian training. The realization that the Left will NEVER quit until we are slaves or dead is finally dawning.

Just because the guy died doesn’t erase the damage he we was intentionally doing with some of reporting.
Maybe it would be different if he had actually had some remorse over the way he went about “reporting”, and said so publically.
But I too have a hard time giving him an “RIP” send-off. CodeToad is spot-on; he did our country harm, and in doing so endangered hundreds of thousands of our people. He helped the other side to drive their agenda forward.
So I wouldn’t call it “hatred” as much as it is just one less of “them” to do us any further detriment.
At the end of the day, there’s those on our side, and those on their side. He made his choice, and it wasn’t for us.
I will say that I hope he made his peace with God. But that’s about all I can say.
Wow, I just read about that. He would not warn our men, husbands, brothers, sons, children, friends, clergy.... screw him, I hope he rots in hell.
