Is Obama 'Dangerously Close To Totalitarianism'?

Power: Given the president's end-runs around Congress, his shredding of the Constitution and his assault on the authority of the courts, a second term free of electoral restraints may be a frightening prospect.

Judge Andrew Napolitano, a Fox News commentator, raised the question on Neil Cavuto's "Your World" show Wednesday. And while it seems fanciful in light of the safeguards built into our democracy and its institutions, it recognizes the threat posed by the president's policies and actions if left unchecked.

"I think the president is dangerously close to totalitarianism," Napolitano opined. "A few months ago he was saying, 'The Congress doesn't count, the Congress doesn't mean anything, I am going to rule by decree and by administrative regulation.'

"Now he's basically saying the Supreme Court doesn't count. It doesn't matter what they think. They can't review our legislation. That would leave just him as the only branch of government standing."

Some would consider this borderline hyperbole. But this is, after all, a president who has said he can't wait for Congress to act and will govern by executive order and regulations if necessary. He has questioned the Supreme Court's "unprecedented" review of ObamaCare.

As the Department of Justice turned in its homework assignment on the judicial review of the constitutionality of laws, it was a reminder that this is an administration that's already been found in contempt of court by a federal judge.

In February of last year, Louisiana Federal District Court Judge Martin Feldman found that the Obama Interior Department was in contempt of his ruling that the offshore oil drilling moratorium, imposed by the administration in 2010, was unconstitutional. After Feldman struck down the initial drilling ban, the Interior Department simply established a second ban that was virtually identical.

The communists have been working on the demoralization phase of subversion for the last 50 years at least, and it’s taken a toll. They’ve also been working on the destabilization phase and pretty much have it ready for the next phase which is crisis (the full-out revolution).

Yuri Bezmenov says that when people are demoralized they cannot see reality no matter how many facts and how much evidence is in front of them. That sure matches what we see. The liberal media is totally demoralized; they cannot see the truth even if they wanted to. So they report lies.

But there are two points of hope in this, that I see.

First, we don’t know how the public would respond to hearing the truth because they’ve never been exposed to the truth. They may not be so much demoralized as deceived, and if they are allowed to see facts it will matter to them. For some of them it won’t. That’s the message of Trayvon Martin. The people who are pimping an agenda will never let the facts sink in. But the people who are just watching aren’t necessarily like that. That’s why they can throw a big protest, trying to make dry tinder for a fire to catch on, but only a small fraction of what they expected showed up for it. The race pimps. And though there are too many of them, it does say something that maybe 9 out 10 that they expected to pimp along with them wouldn’t do it. What made them too apathetic to protest? Maybe the facts had something to do with it.

Second, Bezmenov says there is a point of awakening even for demoralized people: when they feel the boot on their own behind. That’s what woke up the Hillary supporters. The issue is whether Obama’s boot will hit butts before it’s too late for them to fight back, and that’s a delicate timing problem for Soros/Obama.

The pressure that we’re bringing to bear on Obama/Soros right now is bound to mess with Obama’s mind, and he’s going to end up snapping - revealing who he is before it’s the right time. One of the things somebody I respect greatly said is that the Obama regime is working hard on disarming America because they know that defeating a nation where the loyal patriots are armed is very difficult. Obama is running into a time crunch here, because Fast and Furious got found out and they weren’t able to get rid of the 2nd Amendment by it. And Obama is being exposed to the point that he’s going to have to initiate a crisis before too long. Perhaps before he’s disarmed the public. And that could be a nightmare scenario for him.

That’s another reason for the Trayvon stink. But - like Fast & Furious - the truth is getting out before it’s supposed to, so that the agenda isn’t flying with most people. The crime in Chicago isn’t helping their cause either, since the crime rate in most of the country has reduced drastically with more people being armed (in response to fears that Obama was going to take guns and/or ammunition away).

The truth is pesky. And it does leak out. That messes up the timing of the plans.

Really ? How can you say that and sleep at night. ? While I agree Romney is far from perfect, I place our res as a heartless evil person who is set to destroy everything we (the western world) holds sacred.

I do not even consider Romney as such a person. Do you ? This the question we all must ask IF he gets the nomination. While praying that he does not.

I sleep very well. How can you sleep knowing your choices are between aiberal and another liberal? Romney will be the nominee. The party already fixed the primaries and the convention to make it so.

Even if Romney would be elected President, do you think he would save us from destruction? The pace might be slowed down a bit, but with Romney, America will still hurl into the abyss.

Though not a perfect solution by any means, slowing the train down nearing a broken bridge is a better option than gaining speed as we are seemingly now.

That everything is rigged is obvious. That we as a country can go a trillion dollars in debt each year with out as much as an eye blink is damn right frightening. Will there be war in this country? I truly believe there will be, that is if the proverbial ever hits the fan. The way I see it and no doubt you, how can it miss.

Whilst we still have a Constitution, we still “are” the people in “We the people” All of them, GOP and Libs are playing games with us, and one way or another, it will come to an end. Won’t be pretty which ever way, but “We the people” will (WILL) bring some sanity (GOD) back into this marvelous country. This I believe

That is a dangerous historical error. The Bolsheviks (Communists) never had anything to do with “overthrowing the Tsar”.

Even if that is true, it has little to do with my point - that Communist agents have been hard at work in this country long before the 1980's and that Julius Hammer was sent to this country to raise money and influence for the Communists. He started the Communists Party USA, First as the Workers Party USA. Arthur Sulzberger, Publisher of the NYT, and Al Gore, Sr. and later Al Gore Jr., were in Armand Hammer's pocket and were active in furthering the Marxist cause in the country going back to the early 1900s.
