Tyler Perry's April 1 Facebook post about police pulling him over was no April Fool's joke: The highest-paid man in entertainment is accusing a pair of white Atlanta police officers of racial profiling.
Four days later, Perry's post boasts more than 117,000 "likes," 21,000 comments, and 12,000 shares. Atlanta police have launched an internal investigation, E! News reports.
Perry's predicament began when he admittedly made a left turn from a far-right lane -- a trick his security detail taught him, to make sure he wasn't being followed, Perry explained on Facebook.
Two white Atlanta police officers pulled him over, but apparently did not realize they'd just stopped Tyler Perry.

Story reads like a Ron White comedy skit: “As it turn out, that night they were stopping everyone stealing a left from the right lane...That’s Profiling!”
It will to *me*!
What if I get frisked?!?
Eeeeewwww!
;D
Why is a routine traffic stop a racial incident? Do blacks want absolute immunity? Well, they’re not going to get it.
While I’m happy for Mr. Perry’s success as a director, I have to admit that I’ve never seen a picture of him. The lesson here is that successful people shouldn’t have to stop for the police. Let’s call it the “O.J. Rule”.
They actually allow whites to be cops in Atlanta, I figured that was just some ethnic cesspool of cronyism and affirmative action.

Well "frankly"...your word is mud. And you won't bet on it.
What's that say about your word? You tell me.
I was being sarcastic, but really, what IS his talent that he should be so highly paid??? Most of todays comedians are truly UNfunny.

They didn't realize it was him? The horror! If they had realized it, making an illegal turn would have been ok then. (It actually turned out that way. TMZ said that he didn't get a ticket. So it seems he got away with it. Your average citizen would get the ticket.)
I would not even know if it was a Tyler Perry or not, have no clue what he looks like.
No.
Apparently the new term for making a left turn from the far-right lane will now be called pulling a Tyler Perry.
People like Mr. Perry have been pulling this racist s#$% for years. Don’t fall for it.
Ha. Sounds almost like the term I use for a U-Turn...”Pulling a you-eee...”

The bastards made an illegal maneuver, period. The cops pulled him over period. This guy is a turd in the sharpton, obama, wright, ayers, jackson, mold.
They keep trying to strike a match to ignite a race war but are too intellectually inferior to use the right end of the match.
Another douche bag trying to be a member of the Klan with a Tan but failing.
Keep it up morons because more and more the stereotype is becoming the factual truth.
Happy Motoring ;-)
1. Cops are in the habit of giving everybody a hard time. Tyler didn’t roll down his passenger window fast enough. The lack of instant obedience pissed off one of the cops.
2. I don’t see this as a racial incident. The only thing wrong with this was the cops decided to make nice once they found out Tyler was famous. Double Standard here.
3. Cops routinely use petty traffic stops to provide probable cause. Usually public school graduates will let police search car and person if they just ask. Improper left turns, failure to signal are favorites.
4. Cops just need to calm down, lose the swagger and attitude. People would be nicer to them.
5. Traffic fines fund the municipal judiciary, the court houses, judges, public defenders. If you go to traffic court remember the judge gets paid out of traffic fines.
The whole system stincks and causes unnecessary stress on everybody. It won’t change because best I can figure voters enjoy being hassled by cops. And cops love to swagger around scaring people. I don’t understand any of this.
