Today contributor Star Jones was livid that Sarah Palin was featured on Today Tuesday morning and that she had to appear on a segment with the former governor of Alaska, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Palin co-hosted the second hour of Today in a bid to up ratings as Katie Couric is filling in this week for vacationing Robin Roberts on rival show Good Morning America.
During Matt Lauer's interview with Palin in the first hour of the show she referred to the press as "lamestream media" at least three times and Jones couldn't believe Matt didn't address those comments. "Star was watching the interview in the green room and she was absolutely floored that Sarah Palin as a guest on the Today show was basically calling everyone on set lame," a show insider tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. "Star was incensed that Sarah was allowed to make such inflammatory comments. Star is the consummate professional and couldn't fathom why Sarah would be so negative as a guest and Star was livid about the comments.
The former co-host of The View was on a panel with Palin, called Ask The Experts, during the second hour of Today. "Star could barely look at Sarah and insisted that she be seated on the opposite end from her," the source says. "Star is a lawyer, a former prosecutor and has worked very hard in her life to get where she is. Star didn't understand why Sarah was on the panel because she doesn't have anything worth contributing. Star also didn't believe Sarah when she said that she hadn't seen Julianne Moore playing her in the movie Game Change."

More intolerance, racism & hate from the left.
SPNBC?
Wookie Wannabe
Yep!! But breaking federal FCC laws is natural to this pig...
“Star” spelled backwards is “rats.”
LOL, and that RIGHT THERE is a big part of the reason these leftwing witches hate her. Star Jones is painfully aware that she (Star) is an unattractive porker.
Next time get your mouth stapled, Jones.
Star Jones, you ignorant slut!
Star Jones: “Hey nobody has paid attention to me for a while, why don’t I make stupid comments about somebody relevant like Sarah Palin and I might get noticed.”
Me: Star Jones should see if she can pitch herself to the networks as a means to raise the ratings by adding her brand of wit and wisdom to the morning shows, evening shows, overnight shows. I bet she doesn’t get any takers. Crawl back under the boulder you came from and stop trying to get people to pay attention to you. Nobody cares.
Momentarily I was thinking “Star Parker” and wondering why she would take such exception to Sarah... Ah, but Star JONES.
My husband was here yesterday morning, and we both watched that lousy show. I haven’t seen it in 20 years or so, and I was surprised by how bad it was.
Anyway, we both noticed Star Jones’ demeanor during that segment. She was huffing and puffing and almost exploding with attitude-—it was very visible, and the reason for it was obvious. I think Sarah addressed a couple of remarks to her, but Jones didn’t respond. Personally I think it’s hilarious that Sarah inspires such a reaction in these people. They remind me of vampires when the holy water is brought out.
"That's a man, baby."
Sounds like yet another one of those "we're really just fat women with low self-esteem in a club with a glamorous name" clubs.
As for seriously stapled Star, she comes across as quite the self-important diva.
“I’ve never seen a liberal ‘tolerant’ of anyone or any group that wasn’t considered ‘liberal’.”
Liberals seem surprisingly tolerant of Islam.
Have I got this wrong?
I would’ve been very proud to call her my Commander-in-Chief.
Gosh, does Star have problems with everyone? didn’t she have problems with Barbara Walters too? Also, if she didn’t like Palin being there so much why didn’t she excuse herself from the show? Seems it was all talk and no substance from Star? Also, didn’t they bring on Sarah to boost the ratings? Wbhy didn’t they bring on Star to bootst the rating? Also, I guess Star is also a mind reader to know whether or not Sarah watched that show that Sarah said she herself didn’t watch? Yipes... seems Star had a lot of coimplaints but nothing constructive. I’m sure Sarah will lose sleep over the fact star didn’t want to be seated near her. Makes me laugh.... so stupid. Go get ‘em Sarah...you got their heads exploding. What a riot. Also Sarah would have outshone Star when seated side by side. Sarah is a beauty plain, simple, classic. STar? All I ewver hear from her is whining.
