WHY IS HE DOING THIS?
In the book, Tom Robinson is accused of a rape he DID NOT COMMIT. Yet all the town wants to convict him to keep “those people” in their “proper place”.
EVERYTHING in TKAM makes the new Tom Robinson into ZIMMERMAN.
ZIMMERMAN is cracked up to be this horrrible guy, in spite of ALLLLL the evidence, much of which they have conspired to cover.
WHY IS HE DOING THIS....?
It is increasingly difficult to know when a headline is being satirical and when we are supposed to read it with a straight face. Great Leader is playing with fire in order to be reelected. The hope he has is to incite and divide in ways this country has not seen in decades. I fear we have seen nothing yet.
Thwe first commercial break will announce that, “This production is brought to you by the Obama Ministry of Propaganda.”
To commemorate the senseless execution of Zimmerman, I assume.
And I’m sure he’ll point out that the awesome hero of the entire story is a white man - right?
I can hear it now: “If I had a son he would look like Gregory Peck.”
