(CBS News) Vice President Joe Biden said Florida's "Stand Your Ground" gun laws will be a topic of debate in light of the controversy surrounding the shooting of Trayvon Martin.
"It's important that people be put in a position where their Second Amendment rights are protected, but that they also don't, as a consequence of the laws, unintendedly put themselves in harm's way," Biden told anchor Bob Schieffer in an interview to air on "Face the Nation" on Sunday.

That above headlines that aren't in the news is the reason Trayvon's case is getting SO much time. The wall to wall coverage is better for the democrats than wall to wall coverage of the economy and the Democrat's policy failures.

Schieffer is a master of selective reporting.
He really is among the top apologists for the Democrat Party and has been for decades.
The race riots are supposed to happen after the law-abiding segment of the population is disarmed. Then martial law is declared and 2012 election postponed "until further notice."
That's the primary objective.

Apparently, he is signaling Moscow that he intends to retreat further. The clear implication from the president’s comments is that he cannot tell the American people before the election what he plans to do after the election.
In addition, there is the phrase “on all these issues,” implying more is at stake than just missile defense.”
