Trayvon Martin has been tragically killed. The black Florida teen was shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer, George Zimmerman, in the suburb of Sanford, Fla. Instead of letting justice take its course, race-baiters are exploiting Martin’s death. They are being led by President Obama. His actions have been irresponsible, fanning the flames of racial discontent and division. ....
Martin’s death has sparked national outrage, especially among civil rights leaders and the liberal media. He has become a symbol of racist injustice - a black kid killed in a gated community with a police department supposedly turning a blind eye. The Rev. Jesse Jackson says “blacks are under attack.” Louis Farrakhan vows “retaliation.” The Rev. Al Sharpton has organized massive protests, demanding Mr. Zimmerman be arrested and sent to jail. The New Black Panthers have placed a $10,000 bounty for the shooter’s capture. They issued a poster: “Wanted Dead or Alive.” This is racialist demagoguery - pure and simple.
Yet, it was Mr. Obama who turned this tragedy into a national issue. At a recent news conference, he urged Americans to engage in “soul-searching.” Moreover, Mr. Obama said, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon.” The president’s aides claim he was showing compassion for the victim’s family. In reality, he poured gasoline on the racialist fires. Under pressure from the Congressional Black Caucus, Mr. Obama gave them what they wanted: He put the presidential spotlight on Martin’s death - and thereby bolstered the burgeoning protests.
Mr. Obama’s comments were shameful. No one can know what his “son would look like.” The statement was meant as a sign of race solidarity; Martin was black, and so by extension, Mr. Obama shares the victim’s racial identity.

The FBI keeps statistics, and black vs, white murder is something like 9 times as many, in number, and 80 times more likely, than white vs. black.
If it was appropriate to label a race as "haters" (it's not), the blacks perk to the top of the heap.
Given all that black on white violence to begin with, an uptick caused by Obama's incendiary rhetoric might not be detectable.

I agree as well. He already will receive >94% of the Black vote, irregardless of what he says or does. By playing the race card he will only lose standing with moderate White Dems and possibly some percentage of Latinos.
Good point. Bump for emphasis. And conservatives should be goosing the LSM every time something happens like the Oklahoma killing or the Seattle attack, to nudge them back to their own vomit in the Trayvon Martin case.

It appears that the “black vote” isn’t as enthusiastic as it was in 2008. He’s not paying their mortgages or putting gas in their cars, they haven’t gotten paid with a big check out of 0bama’s Stash, and whitey, stubbornly, is STILL not in chains picking cotton.
So, he’s gotta gin up some race hatred to get them more enthused to vote.

Incredible. And incredibly sad comment on our country. Nothing subtle here. Obama is using the Sanford Case as an intimidation tactic. Win, lose or draw, be armed and ready for election week violence. Stay armed, keep the kids out of school, and just be ready. The more the Mombasa MF knows about our personal answers to the race insurrection he is trying to foment, the better.
Black on white violence is not only being tolerated right now, IMHO, it is being encouraged, and worst of all, rewarded by the administration.
Obama will continue to foment racial tension, at the minimum. He wants total chaos.

They are already far outnumbered by Hispanics, who in general are working and have further moved low-end blacks down the American economic totem pole.
To make it even more pointed, low-end Hispanics are also crowding the Welfare lines, which was an all-black fiefdom. The Democrat Party is simply using the black low-end masses as their street fighters and for now, paying them for bastardy and drug use with welfare subsidies. So, actually there is no need for them to wise up at the moment. They have it, in their opinion, good! God help us us all as the money runs out.
